Judging by the paint and its era its likely Ex-M&ET

@@AirchimeLTDproductions174 The paint was done by the collector post-restoration. The lineage on the horn is not known, though being a late 70's K5, it's most likely a Chessie or Amtrak horn.

It's a late 70s K5, and yes, the horn is in the hands of a private collector.
