The job of comedy is to see which comedian can turn into the actual Joker the fastest.

As a native New Mexican I can say that when a brand introduces a "southwest" flavor we usually think "oh here comes some bullshit" rather than "gimme an oyster burger."

"If God's not dead, how do you explain these gains?" is one of the funniest things I've ever heard in my entire life. I was CRYING

As someone who kind of *is* obsessed with frogs, that short bit was so cute. Also, the chicken rings made me think of that time travis bought like 3 bags of chicken rings (unrelated i think) snd they made him very sick but he already had thrm so he had to keep eating them

I am a huge fan of this podcast but I find their stance on cancel culture is kind of bad.

"Cancel culture" is a right-wing buzzword for accountability.
@catboyedgeworth2469 Жыл бұрын
@@mikkosimonen mmmmmm no. maybe at one point it was but if you deny the toxicity of online "social justice" spaces and how rabidly people celebrate the downfall of anyone who does anything that can even slightly be interpreted the wrong way. cancelling does happen to people the way right wingers say it happens, it just doesn't happen to them because their audience doesn't care. it's actually the less shitty people who suffer unfairly the most from cancel culture. see what happened to lindsay ellis.
@catboyedgeworth2469 Жыл бұрын
@@mikkosimonen it also mostly effects women. people love to harass women off the internet in the name of "accountability."

Yeah, as much as I love these guys they as a rule take the path of least resistance with any remotely multifaceted topic. Which is fine, I’m not a fan of judging people just for not going above and beyond, but it is a bit disappointing.
