Can't wait to listen to this one again! The original was good but this remake promises a new aspect ratio, which I think is a bold and exciting move for an audio program.

I saw the new Joker and I liked it actually. I mean, it fails to be a good superhero movie, or Joker movie, or blockbuster movie. But if you see it from the lens of experimental arthouse movie with a strangely large budget and odd use of IP names for original characters and accept that it does have some weaker moments, I thought it wasn't bad actually. Just... definitely not for a wide audience. For someone who enjoys experimental arthouse indie movies it's pretty good. Had some messages about the abuse and neglect of mental illness in the prison system and the loss of identity and humanity within infamy that were told in a compelling way. Probably too many musical numbers but a few were good.

For a an actually good and original Joker movie that came out this year, I highly recommend Vera Drew’s “The People’s Joker”. It’s less of a legit Joker movie and more of a copyright law smashing trans autobiography but I could think of nothing more Joker than that IMO
