As a former taco bell employee I know way too much about this horrific food item....and how popular the Doritos locos variant that they introduced is. And the fact that they actually WOULD have a flat chicken piece because that's how the patties come. I may no longer work there...but they'll never really let me go....

kind of feels like travis and griffin are kind of held hostage in these segments. justin should just make munch squad his own show, griffin and travis are definitely not happy with this creative direction.

I don't think Lucas here invented it, I think Travis and Griffin's displeasure with the segment is part of the joke. Especially in the more recent episodes.

theyre not just like work partners lol, theyre brothers and if something really did upset them or they really did genuinely want to stop something, they would tell justin that when not recording and justin would respect that cause he loves them lol. this is all just kind of "in character" so to speak. not exactly in character i guess, but like.... "in podcast-mode". they're on board with this lmao.

in fact im sure theres been conversations like that between them before, we just dont have access to that cause why would we lol. but with how long the show has been going and how close they are, and especially with how far theyve come in terms of being more accepting and stuff (though that doesnt apply to munch squad lol munch squad isnt like offensive, but still), i'm sure they have good communication about this sort of thing. i think this might be why munch squad and haunted doll watch almost never occur together (though justin probably wouldnt do that much anyway), and why when they do occur it's usually nowadays right after the money zone. it has a slot specifically for it, basically lol. i wonder if he might even tell them in advance before recording the episode these days, im not really sure. but anyway yeah like dont invent some unspoken conflict between the brothers. its just a podcast and a funny segment. if they were really unhappy, they wouldnt do it anymore.
