Oh wow.. I'm in the planning & prep stage for a similar piece and you just gave me one heck of an idea. I just bought a mold for cupped hands and I think I like your idea better than the water pot I was planning to use.. I gotta try this one out.. I'd love to dabble in resin art but that epoxy is so freaking expensive.... I'm only using resin for my finished clay peices... great stuff but takes time to really master the resin art...needs plenty of practise

How do you make thicker strands without compromising the base?
