these are called war drills that friendly armies do, to exchange war techniques and learn from each others experience and assess their own straight and weekness in real war like situations, targets are located, locked fired but without ammunition in side the payloads, Pakistan keeps doing frequent war drills with allies, and also massively participate in UN missions to aquire more and more advancements in their war methodologies and technique

Yar i was requesting this reaction for a long time, You boys had mis-concepted. It was not any war in May 1995 between any country. Actually Pakistan and USA were having joint Military exercises in corrdination with each each other on Pakistan soil, Air Space and Sea. At the conclusion of these exercizes it was a friendly and proudly challenge from the American Forces who had participated in these exercises, but they never expect this from Pakistan Air Force. At that time Pakistan had F-16 Fighters of USA, but Pakistan had defeated in this challenge with France Mirajh locally up-dared in Kamra Aeronautical Complex, so to show we are capable even without American supplies.

It was not a war situation. Actually Pakistan and American forces were conducting joint military exercises which included the Naval and Air Forces of both countries. These exercises were being conducted in Pakistani territorial waters. The task given to PAF was to successfully attack the American Aircraft Carrier the Abraham Lincoln.The task given to the American Aircraft Carrier was to detect the aircraft approach and to defend itself from this attack buy using its radar system and onboard fighter aircrafts, anti-aircraft guns and missiles. The 2 PAF fighter planes succeeded in the mission by flying at a dangerously low level just above the surface of the ocean. In doing so they managed to avoid detection.They only rose above the naval carrier at last moment to make a mock attack. Thus they were able to make the artificial kill. This is what it was all about. This was a peacetime training mission.

It was not a war, it was official army practice sessions ( jungi mashkein) held under both countries defence group on official & armed forces approvals. This was a task between both countries air & navy forces to complete. These kind of army & soldiers practice sessions are intervaly held in different countries time by time to improve their strategies, judge other countries armed forces powers, war tactics & much more.
