Hate to say it but exhaust mods for “noise factor” are the reason for trail closures on easement land. If you need to shed pounds for higher terrain, great but to “sound tough is a bad call in my book. From a former trail admin of a sno-club.

Actually it's probably the people that like to drink and then ride wide open at like 2:00 a.m., that ruins it for everybody but you should have some sort of a loud Muffler to alert idiots and keep animals away from the front of your sled! And if anybody takes a stock Muffler off to put a quiet muffler on to save 2 lbs should just get out of the sport!
