Martin: good job on creating a slip-on for the KRX 1000 that is only *slightly* louder than stock, as opposed to the typically louder "straight-thru" design employed by so many other slip-on manufacturers (eg, Trinity, Graves, HMF, etc.) that will get even louder as the packing burns out. Those other models are fine choices for those folks who seek louder vehicles, but I have no interest in being loud. My interest is having a cooler running exhaust (due to no cat conv), a lighter exhaust, and a deeper exhaust note on the KRX. In my opinion, you guys at MBRP nailed it with this design. Excellent work!

Finally, a decent muffler! Orderered ours today. We will do an install video and also a 0-60 with stock muffler and 0-60 with this one. Can't wait!

What's the major difference between the performance model and the sport model? The performance model looks more compact.

@@chrisgrant8719 absolutely. this exhaust and my Level 2 ECM tuning I'm seeing 9-10 rwhp gain in peak power vs the stock muffler with cat out when tuned. it adds a modest 2 hp gain over the OEM and better sound without all the noise

I got mine put on and I’m Experiencing some popping and some backfiring is this normal or should I be worried

Think you’ll have problems selling these at the price point. The hmf Titan is very close to the same $ looks way better and sounds more aggressive. This product looks like a muffler off a Honda Civic or something. Not trying to be critical but think I represent a large portion of the target demo on this one.

What? 431.00 To make it LOUDER? It's too loud already, It's not a turbo, it's just a muffler, If I wanted it louder I would just run a straight pipe with a spark arrester.
