I know MBT won't change its format and will keep reading subs out loud while ignoring entirely the entire video opening, wheels and reactions, so I wonder if we can get a summary on what we lost in between. Like.. I don't know, "in the meantime, Cimo/Gage rolled a [Rarity] in the wheel and got [Card]" or "banlist, [Card] got banned/lifted". All and all, keep up the amazing work as always, Vlad!

yugioh is so lost. cant understand why people playing this if magic is a thing. Yugioh players have no idea what their cards do because every card has a novel on it. there are no keywords etc etc where should I stop? tens of thousands of life points? why? and who goes first wins? :D the game is so damn lost
@Excellsion7 ай бұрын
There's entire videos breaking down why people do. Cards are complex, yes, but it makes them satisfying to decipher. We as players do want some keywords, but as it stands technically, if you read any given card, it does explain that card without needing to consult something else. (Implications of what it's doing i.e. Branded Fusion less so, but I digress.) We effectively have 80 life with 2 decimals that almost never come up. Almost everything works on scales of 100s. Going first is generally preferred, yes, but in either more casual situations or pro play, it isn't an open and shut case. I tried magic *with intended starting products.* It was slow and uncompelling. I like Yugioh more because it's ridiculous. Different people like different things.
@RunicSigils7 ай бұрын
Keywords are worthless when you'd need an encyclopedia of them. Even similar cards work slightly differently. It's laziness that sees people confused by how their cards work, not lacking an encyclopedia full of thousands of keywords they need to read to know. The only other option is to dumb down the cards because now most don't work in the more complex way they were intended. We have all the keywords that are possible otherwise in PSCT. Just because you like easy games doesn't mean everyone wants them.
