MBTA & High-Speed Amtrak Trains at Mansfield, MA

While up along the NEC on Sunday, September 11th after riding in the Dome Car on the Amtrak Downeaster, went to Mansfield, MA with freeskierinvt to see some high-speed Amtrak trains (Mansfield is along the stretch of the fastest tracks in the US) and some MBTA trains. Acela expresses can go through Mansfield at up to 150 mph, and Regionals go through at up to 125 mph. The trains featured in this video are as follows:
1.) Southbound Acela Express #2297 from Boston to New York Penn.
2.) MBTA Commuter Rail #2812 from Providence, RI to Boston.
3.) Northbound Acela Express #2252 from Washington D.C. to Boston. It had to go slow because it had to switch tracks at Mansfield in order to go around MBTA #2812 which was running late.
4.) Southbound Northeast Regional #139 from Boston, MA to Washington D.C.
5.) Northbound Northeast Regional #88 from Washington D.C. to Boston MEETS Southbound Northeast Regional #139 from Boston to Washington D.C.
6.) MBTA Commuter Rail #2813 from Boston to Providence
7.) MBTA Commuter Rail #2814 from Providence to Boston

this is really cool stuff thanks for filming. WHOOSH!! Ive ridden the Tunnel before but i odnt think i ever rode one of those mtba trains in all the time ive spent in MA. would love to ride a high speed train sometime. great job. I caught some fighters in death valley last week and saw an airshow here in SF just yesterday, those acelas remind me of the jets!
