Cool video! Looking forward to the day that our family can visit these places. Just need to get the budget first. :-) Good work!

Thanks very much bud! Yea with the cost of fuel these days it getting harder to get out there!
@4WheelingSA2 жыл бұрын
@@EpicAfrica Definitely yes. And some of the camping costs as well. At least in a way the positive is that it forces you to look at local options. Keep the vids coming!

Another excellent vid - we are staying at Elephant sands with another Family on 24th and 25th December - SO excited! Any tips?
@EpicAfrica2 жыл бұрын
Hope you enjoy it! If you camping try and setup to the left of the ablution block, the ele's walk right past your camp.

Looks very exciting, and I am very jealous of the trip! Just out of interest, no negative vibes, why did you take wood from South Africa into Botswana? Are you allowed to do that? I know it isn't too wise to spread SA goggas into other countries, esp. with the rapid spread of the Shot Hole borer... Nonetheless, awesome stuff, and I look forward to see the next part of your trip, thanks for keeping my procrastination entertained!
@EpicAfrica2 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much for the comment. Yes 100%! we don’t normally take wood either which way, I forgot I had them up there from the previous nights stay. We used them straight away that same night at elephants sands. When you have a long days drive there is nothing worse than arriving to camp and not having wood. Its not always available! And you may not collect wood

Would it not be better to do the border crossing at any of Stockpoort, Zanzibar or Saamboubrug??
