I think Ambush doesnt work with Decimating Strike because Ambush is triggered after the calculation of the Decimating Strike = target not full life?

After years of watching you I just have to comment. I almost always end up playing the same builds as you without any influence before hand. From EK ignite to pathfinder shenanigans, it's just so funny to me man. they're always extremely fun builds too

It doesn’t cause an issue tbh. I’m using this build but I built my tree differently. You do roughly 1.2 million damage in burst damage if you got emergency reload up and do it correctly. If the boss isn’t shredded after that go back to shards to get shock then rinse and repeat without the reload since the cooldown will be up

Go straight down from the start instead of to the right and you save yourself a travel node, maybe two if you get the other side of the movement speed on kill small passive

That's becouse he is using a crossbow worth around 50ex and whole build depends on you dps.

picking up raw dps with two handed weapons in the node tree in the beginning (the red nodes to directly to the left before he splits off to the right) of the tree can really help. the lightning will convert a really good chunk of that into lightning damage.

Why haven't you used the 24 weapon set skill points? You could use them on the main damage nodes as more unlocks? That's a significant amount of damage you're missing out on.

I’m playing a version of this build and I’m finding it takes so long to shock bosses at level 50. Is it worth using passives on ailment chance + shock chance? What are ways to shock things more easily?

The clear is great, the dps is kinda too high imo. If the vision of poe2 is to actually fight bosses, what are we doing? He locked him in place and shot him to death in 3 seconds. I don't know what to say to that. That is poe1 all over again.

if it's earned i don't really care. people min max to be able to do these kinds of things, and if they math it out and figure it out over the course of leveling, i say more power to them. it's fun to wipe mobs. it's not fun getting 1 shot and shooting 20 minutes at a boss.

how did you brick your merc following his advice? you can always get new gems and respec your character.

@@SignalLost730 on level 70 it costs more than 300k gold for full respec. Its not possible to farm that much gold with character that is doing 0 dmg and doesn't have half of gear. Try it, if you think otherwise)

How did you make it through the leveling process? I noped out at level 9, couldn't stand it anymore. In fact I think I hate PoE2. Everything feels like crap and the devs have a very obviously anti fun design philosophy.

infusion wasn't overpowered, it was a bug. they fix bugs. they don't go after legitimate builds.
