With your 2 free Slots u could add, Gas Granates and set them to break Armor. And the Balista with slow effect, set up for even more slow. This one gets targetet if Enemy distance to it is half of they're distance to u. So it will even tank some attacks.

A thing i've been playing with very succesfully for single target with galvanic shards is placing some glacial bolt with mutliple proj and whatever the skill is that gives ice crystal life. That spams a lot of ice crystals around the boss/rare mob which you can all use to trigger the lightning bursts from galvanic shards. Works really well but you gotta like the 2 button playstyle. Will for sure try the charge skill

To help out your stats in a few levels, at the right side of the tree, where you have acrobatics, left to acrobatics there is a evasion and dex cluster, there is a 8% noteable, some small ones with 8 dex, a noteable with 25 dex, and further left to is there is attackspeed + dex, and attackspeed per dex. All those notes should help out reaching the dex you need, and then you can convert the any attribute notes to str or int, because you get so much dex

Been using lightning build aswell while majority went with grenadier build. I just cant stand the fuse time. If it exploded on contact it would be great but nah. This is much more straight forward and I like it

Really recommend having a look at voltaic grenades, you put scatter on them and more chance for electrocute, also maybe more area for easier hit. Great thing about them is that they themselves do quite some damage, stun(electrocute) enemies decently and don't switch ammo.

I loved lightning crossbow so much that I mixed galvanic shards with lightning rod from ranger + barrage/scattershot to make more rods and it just clears everything with the right set up instantly. All the lightning bursts you get out of it do so much damage.

Witchhunter is super fun, every class needs a skill liek galvanic shards. Feels much better than other classes in terms on "1 button' playstyle. Also kitokos is so busted for mapping

use weapon swap with bow as stormcaler arrow gives almost guarantee shock, and adds some shock magnitude passive and support gems as well as using voltaic mark. For bossing i can currently do -86percent shock with mark and it deletes anything

if you use a bow as alt weapon, you can also use voltaic mark and lighting rod which both synergise well with this build, its what i do.

This was my build in standard mode, then when I reached cruel, this build was no more applicable, so I changed to granadier build, and it works perfectly to mobs and boss. But this build was fun. I still keep it and use it from time to time. This is Galvanic shards build with scattershot support gems and lighting output support.

im getting better results using voltaic nades to apply the shock stun, then shockbursting it. it's melting everything. plus the nades just insta clear everything. you roll, throw nades, roll throw nades, if something lives it's typically shock stunned and you just shockburst.

I've tested a similar setup but with slightly different pathing, it was decent and felt like it could be fun, but the damage was a bit lacking and I couldn't really see an obvious easy way of improving it. More then the damage though, the defenses felt very bad. Interested to see where you take this

After watching the video quick question: Are you focussing on Crit because crits affect shock chance or strength ? Im confused on why you want to scale crit when non-crits are rolled twice.

Look at that! Been playing Merc and started shifting the build towards lightning just yesterday because it feels waay cooler them grenade spam to play - and I didn't even know you get a frigging laser beam at some point! Dunno if you tested but Voltaic Mark gives a +50% chance of shocking targes. Maybe its more usefull at my level tho. From a merc to another: subbed :)

I'm playing a version of this build, Shockburst rounds also trigger on Electrocution,which is a base 5 sec stun, as well as Shock. If you can build Electrocution as well do it!

For that boss it looks like you don't start by charging plasma, you dodge the first attack far enough and then charge. I think. Cool build definitely.

I'm curious if crit is really the way to go for lightning builds in poe 2 (right now). Crit and crit dmg seem a lot harder to stack than PoE 1.. with the "non-crits lucky" node, I feel like those passives would be better off going to pen and shock magnitude

Hey man! My build is pretty similar to yours and thanks to you I've been able to optimize it with a little more crit! For clearing with Galvanic Shards I like to put in Electrocute instead of Conduction, which will go into Herald of Thunder, makes you kill slightly slower but very much safer as it freezes entire waves, they will still die or be finished off with Shockburst. Very lovely build, thanks again!

In general crossbow stuff max roll is maybe something like.. Expert base of the i think Dryad Xbow for +1 bolt per clip? or maybe high crit % high flat phys base. idk what all the xbow bases are then add on stats of: + % phys dmg + added flat phys dmg + level of projectile skills + added flat lightning dmg + atk spd % add sockets for runes ^ add iron runes for some more phys % dmg. corrupt for +1 skill or maybe +1 rune socket or something if you're WILDIN.

There is 30 spirit gained in act 2, 3 and 40 in act 3 when you kill optional bosses. Just hunt all those down and you'll get 100 too.

Replace the Herald of Ice with a cast on shock with a setup for Voltaic mark and the clear gets wild, especially in maps. Super fun. Herald melts packs and the mark explodes your screen.
