To anyone who followed the steps in this video but found it still doesn't work: go into Game Options in the Sims 4, open the Other section, and make sure that both the Enable Custom Content and Mods and the Script Mods Allowed boxes are ticked, then Apply Changes. Script Mods Allowed is usually off by default, but is necessary for MCCC to function.

I feel like I've tried this over and over and over again and it still does not work. I'm at my wit's end. I feel like mccc is never going to work again on my laptop, it's been down since August for me, but it seems like everyone else has been doing it just fine.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having such a frustrating time with MCCC! I completely understand how overwhelming it can feel when something just doesn’t seem to work. Let’s see if we can troubleshoot this together. 😊 Here are a few steps to double-check: Check your game version: Make sure your Sims 4 game is fully updated. MCCC is regularly updated to match the latest game patches, and an outdated version of either could cause issues. Download the latest MCCC version: Visit the official Deaderpool website at deaderpool-mccc.com/#/ to get the most recent version of MCCC. Double-check you’re downloading the correct files for your setup. Extract files properly: When you download MCCC, it will be a .zip file. Ensure you extract the contents into a folder inside your Mods directory (e.g., Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods > MCCC). Enable Mods in the Game Settings: Go to the game’s settings and make sure both “Script Mods Allowed” and “Enable Custom Content and Mods” are checked. Restart the game after enabling these. Folder depth: MCCC should not be more than one folder deep inside your Mods folder. For example, it should look like Mods > MCCC, not Mods > Folder > MCCC. If you’ve already tried all of these and it’s still not working, there could be a conflict with another mod. Try temporarily moving all other mods out of the folder except MCCC to see if it works on its own. You can also join Deaderpool’s support server on Discord: discord.gg/mccc. The support team and community there are super helpful and may be able to troubleshoot your issue further. Feel free to reply with an update or any error messages you’re seeing-I’ll do my best to help as well. You’ve got this! 💪

@@Demonicmiss You're a sweetheart, I'm glad you've been so kind. Unfortunately, I have uninstalled all mods except for the mccc and followed your video and somehow it still isn't working for me. I've gone on the discord, and I've tried reaching out, and it's not happening. I'm beginning to think I'm a lost cause. Thank you for all your help, I'm just all sorts of frustrated and hadn't meant to spill this into your comments. I appreciate all your time and your attempt to help.

Hai i did have mccc before but it seems that im having trouble installing the updated one, so i deleted all the files and trying to install back to square one lol… so my mc settings also gone. How to get it back? Because i did not see any mc settings from the download 7.0 😅

When you update MC Command Center, the one fke you SHOULD leave if you dont want to lose settings is the settings file. Theat file is not generated until you change settings to your liking. Check your recycle bin, if its not therre then there is no way of getting it back.

I'm sorry to hear that the video was confusing for you, especially since you're on a Mac. I primarily use Windows, so the tutorial is oriented towards that system. However, the general process should be similar on a Mac. You’ll still need to extract the files before placing them in your Mods folder, but I’m not familiar with the exact file path on Mac. If you’re still having trouble, I’d recommend looking for a tutorial specifically for installing mods on Mac or joining Deaderpool’s Discord server at www.discord.gg/mccc, where you can get more detailed help.

I'm sorry to hear that the mod isn’t showing up in your game. Here are a few things you can try: - Make sure the mod files are extracted before placing them in the Mods folder. If they’re still in a .zip or .rar file, the game won’t recognize them. - Double-check that the mod is in the correct folder, which on a Mac should be Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. - Ensure that mods are enabled in the game by doing the following: 1. Open The Sims 4 and go to the main menu. 2. Click on "Game Options." 3. Select "Other." 4. Check the boxes for "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed." 5. Restart your game. If you’ve done all of this and it’s still not working, try downloading the mod again in case the file was corrupted. You can also join Deaderpool’s Discord server at www.discord.gg/mccc for more help. I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any other questions!
