this depends on what u consider snitching to be. the feds knew he had given eight the money. if eight would've said no about receiving the money, he would be in prison. he (eight) was given 100000 for the movie and that was explained. he was there to do a movie. reading is interpretation. I agree bruh... The info I read, they pretty much paid for everything in cash, including employees.. things for the movie etc... If they said they were paying him 100k for the movie, I'm not sure why it's considered snitching if that is the truth of the transaction.. @osiris horus but here's the thing, even according to Nate's on testimony during his trial, (for the most part, he represented himself), he said he was basically out of the game/legit by mid 1990 (at least according to the Chicago Tribune Article I found), and the movie thing wasn't until 1995. So if he was told it was legit and the Chicago crew said it was legit, court records say they had a record label and we're working on a film, which was legit, then why would he think otherwise? Now I'll saw this lol, I'm trying to give 8 the benefit of the doubt based on the evidence at hand of what I found and what was said etc.. now I'm not a street dude, but have been incarcerated and at the same time, there's some ish that I'm not even gone do lol... I've met with dudes on some business stuff who I believe we're cartel affiliated and questioned things off the bat (in my head of course) and squashed the deal, months later found these folks on the news raided by the feds.. my point is, I sensed some things weren't right and declined the offer.. and that ain't the first time and trust me, I needed the money more than 8 did lol... But I digress.. so, I can see it both ways.. it almost sounds like he was told by someone to just answer the questions about the movie directly, as a way to kinda not incriminate himself as well lower any incrimination against anyone else involved.. again, they had a ton of evidence on all the parties involved him saying he got 💰 for a movie added nothing more to their case other than that was another thing they paid cash for... They had records of damn near all of the cash transactions.. I guarantee, they asked everyone he or any one else they paid in cash, where they got the money from, what it was for and how much it was.. you lie, yo a$$ going to jail... Just for lying... But that's my take..
