Not often you get a clear shot at a loading bay in any type of artic vehicle. Nearly always involves backing around a corner of some sort.

6 meter packs of timber through a standard 820mm door now that is impressive, unless u do it long ways on a couple of trolleys or something

Could tell you a funny story about the chief instructor at TDT ------- but I would probably have to defend a libel case.

TommyKx Well he thought he would exercise his theoretical skills by unloading some 3.5 metre crates of stainless steel from my trailer -- with a standard pallet size forklift -- while the latest class of wannabe forkies was at lunch. Unfortunately he could not get the first 3.5 metre crate through a 3.2 metre doorway.!!!! After I guided and directed him on how to do it for -- say 5 minutes -- we mutually decided that it would be best to await the return of a common or garden variety forkie from his lunch break.Said Chief Instructor went off to have his lunch in the Executive Dining Room. When said common or garden variety forkie returned from his lunch and jumped into the seat the task was completed -- without guidance or direction - within 1 minute and the other 5 crates (of equal length) still on the trailer also disappeared into the warehouse within the space of say 6-7 minutes. Hilarious -- but I guess You Had To Be There to get the full impact and to understand that "those who can do ----------- and those who cannot teach."

What a load of crap, my instructor sat in the cab with me and said don't do more than quarter of a turn to put it backwards.... the instructor in this clip gave the driver hints and clues all the way back..... sorry mate, you don't have that advantage in a real world situation!!!
