"Put on a show with this hand, while you get what you want with this hand." This hit me deep. I think the hardest thing about this is the struggle of personal authenticity and fulfillment. Putting on a show gets tiring and sometimes I just want to release my inner fire, but I ask myself: is this energy my higher self or is it my smaller self? Leading two lives gets confusing to the point of disassociation and simply feeling faceless. I could relate to what you said in the second half of your video. I am very diplomatic and composed in public around people at school/work and friends who don't really know me that well. I'm also very patient. I've mastered the art of being unbothered/calm ( even when inside, I'm screaming for someone to hurry up or extremely irritated lol). But my family knows that I'm quite ambitious, and can be impatient (although I'm working on that). Also I'm a sag rising, libra sun and gemini moon.

Whoa. My daughter has an aries IC and I always give her "100 treats". When she writes her name correctly, use the big girl potty, or any sort of developmental victories is rewarded with a prize. I'm totally going to stop rewarding that sort of thing and just reward her for whatever reason. We shouldn't reward with food anyway. I'm proud of her for her just being her and need to show her that ❤

Great video. My family, home and upbringing (4H) may have brought out certain traits that may not be acceptable publicly (10H) like being headstrong (Aries) so I have to know when to back down from this and turn on the charm (Libra). It’s about balance. Sugarcoat both traits so it’s not harsh, not too sweet but just right. ♈️ to ♎️ Command but with grace Lead but collaborate Be firm but charming ♎️ to ♈️ Be polished but have substance Focus on aesthetics but be driven Prioritize relationships but don’t forget self So I have to marry the fire (Aries) 🔥within me with beautiful aesthetics (Libra) ❤️ No one likes a wildfire but they love to look at a fireplace. So I have to build a fireplace for success. Keep the fire contained beautifully but keep still it burning. ❤️‍🔥

This is....so accurate and speaks to my heart & current struggles? I'm a 7th House Cancer with that Cap Ascendant, was homeschooled by engineer parents who are very go get 'em, and "if your path isn't smooth ahead, then forge your own", and I often get frustrated with having to work with, say, the marketing department of my company? I'm in the editorial/creative side so I just wish people could be honest and not have to play the complicated, imbalanced games, where if you don't look like everyone else, you have to be better than everyone to prove it. But over a whole year it's taken me a slow ability to be able to appreciate it and I'm often frustrated with my clumsy attempts to try and be more polished in the "work world", because people say I'm a pleasant agreeable person who speaks well in every other area! (My Gemini moon, mercury, & jupiter, I suppose?) so when you said "social norms" it just struck me to the core. :-) I always come back to your videos, just to check, as they've truly truly been the most enlightening to me, in deep ways, cracking open parts of me I thought no one else knew about.

I'm waiting for you to contact me (Erin) I just ran my Draconian chart on astro and saw that though my MC is Taurus, my Draconian Chart shows Libra MC. I have a Stellium in my 4th house to include Mars. This video is precisely the struggle/ dance I have been learning over the course of my career as a teacher (which I want to end asap). I know Placidus makes things more complicated with interceptions and what not. I believe the chart is just the chart though. You may find some differences with equal house. It's opposite in my case though. Having a mom with Libra sun and Libra moon and growing up with my grandparents who embodied traditional gender roles and traditional everything. I think I was shaped early by social norms. Is highschool early though? I have Pluto in the 11th house and Uranus and Neptune conjunct my ASC opposite Moon and Mercury, all squaring my MC. Lol. It's a confusing thing really. I think I actually lost that fire throughout the years because of the need to be accepted.

That's very interesting! I wonder if social norms are relevant to the themes of this video though. Aries 4th isn't about WHAT you were you shaped by, but HOW you were shaped by it. That's why I reference the idea of being pushed to deal with things alone; it doesn't matter if you were pushed into a social situation or not, rather that you were expected to take what you were taught and do it whether your guardians are there or not. Early autonomy is the key theme.

I believe Placidus is the most accurate. If you're looking for something simpler though, Equal House works well too. That's the system used to do horoscopes.

I'm confused. If your 10th house is 26 Virgo, your 4th is 26 Pisces. Aries can have a lot of influence, but if it's not your 4th house cusp then it's just not. Same goes for Libra and your 10th if your 10th is 26 VIrgo. Your chart kinda is what it is.

Catchyourgucci - I have the exact placement described here : Capricorn Ascendant, IC = Aries (and the Part of Fortune is exactly *on* the IC), MC in Libra. I wouldn't say my life is tragic, but others are often really respectful when they find out about just small fragments of my life story. I understand my story is super heavy and incredible for people who've had easier lives, but to me it's just my life. :)
