Just to clarify for those who aren't sure - Ceili is the second last dancer, the one in the black dress with white skirt. She also won the 2014 world championships. The second one to dance came 2nd at worlds this year and the girl after Louise has retired now but came 10th at the 2013 worlds. It is an an coimisiun competition held in Melbourne each year and is open to anyone in the world to attend.

Erin McArthur (girl with the black and white dress) went to my high school, we use to be quite good friends in yr 10. She is undoubtably a good dancer and placed 7th at the worlds in Boston this year :D

Congrats Ceili, I said "oh, what lovely style!" before I read that she won =) it's really deserved, amazing crossover and turnout. But all girls were great.

She started off by finishing her previous step (the one she would normally do before the one she just performed) because there isn't a pause between the steps. It's easier to go into the step by doing the ending of the previous one.

I recently quit Irish dancing after i spent 3 and a half years in Beginner/Primary, I'm nearly 30 years old I have a learning disability and Dyspraxia and my teacher treated me very poorly, especially when i gave up!

That's so confusing! In CRN we just start after the 8 no matter what, a girl from commission was telling me that sometimes their steps are longer/shorter than 8 bars and they sometimes start early and that would just mess me up too much
