Mcbrides track is sick I absolutely loved it. I was surprised my rc Colorado with 2” lift and 32’s did the main track with no dramas.

Top video 🤙 also a good comparison of 33’s ifs lockers and 35 solid no lockers. I’m sure this appealed to many 4 wheelers starting out and working out what they do and don’t need for their vehicle. Love your work Tyler

Another good video Tyler. You are right about the tracks looking much easier than they actually are. I've got front and rear dash cams that are going all the time, and when I look at the footage, it's as boring as bat shit, so I dont even bother looking now. and with the cameras being inside, you don't even get the sound efects.

Hey Tyler, I’ve been watching a few different vids of the D23 Nav, as I’m thinking of upgrading from my D40. 1 thing most users say is the biggest annoyance is the lower radiator hose rubbing on a pulley & belt, thus causing a possible serious hose blow out when u least need it to happen. Have u experienced and if so, how did u rectify it? Seems like some ppl have overboard on the mod’s, with their late model Nav’s and that has led to big headaches.

Hey mate, Ive never heard of that issue to be honest. Main issue I hear of is the rear main seal going in D23's, they normally cover it under warranty

Trend, but its practical in that theres less debris and water ingress into the air box from forward movement or vehicles in front throwing stuff at you

In terms of air flow pseudo science.. Theres all sorts of debates.. The brunt of it is that the loss (if any) of a rear facing snorkel in terms of air flow compared to a ram head is negligible in the sense that a true ram head needs significantly more speed than a 4wd to be effective.. we're talking more than 200kmh etc.. Considering most 4wds live under 110km it's not much difference forward or rear facing. The only real benefit is that you won't get mud down the snorkel if that was likely an issue for you, and then going past the airbox and into the turbo etc.. Other than it looks cool and sounds whistle whistle (sometimes annoying for the driver or passenger with the window down) there's no real benefit.. Plus they dent way easier than plastic snorkels. Each to their own though if you like it you like it, if you don't you don't.

​@@DeejayManii Considering the car doesn't have lungs and it draws from the ambient atmosphere in a constant repeated cycle, your point, if I would even call it that is invalid. The counter to your pointless argument would be that its pointing away and while the car moves forward the air won't go into the intake because its flowing past, which is also incorrect and just as stupid as your comment.A snorkel is going to draw air irregardless of which way its pointing, the only difference is catching stuff in the entry point and how many impediments/bends the air pressure has to fight against.
