Mesa Community College Thunderbird Social Pow Wow 2023 on Saturday April 8th, 2023.

I hope I captured this event in a way that pleases everyone! Im still an amatuer with my camera but every video I put out, I become 1% better every time! Mistakes are made and in the next event I will be fixing those mistakes, it sure is a journey though 😁 I did feel very shy about fully rigging out my camera with so many people around, I half built my camera. What that means, I wasn't recording with a bigger monitor, and I was recording using my little lcd screen built into my camera. I suppose that was my first mistake as I often had a darker image or I was slightly out of focus. Perhaps next time I'll try to be more casual with my camera rig 😊

I dont know what tribe you are from but I am Dine' born for the Black Sheep Clan. Thank you for this video. The great spirit I can feel when the music is sung and the beat of the drum is the heartbeat. So many in history tried to take this away from us yet we are still here and growing stronger. @@IndigenousEventRecordings I was thinking you're Navajo cause of the Thunderbird. I live in Seattle right now but I'm really considering moving back to NM. The land is calling me home😊

@@IndigenousEventRecordings i'm in Seattle right now My family lives on the reservation outside of Gallup New Mexico called Joe's Ranch or vanderwagon i think I spelled that right. What's keeping me in Seattle though is I like hiking I like the forest and the cheap weed eh😹
