a parody of this commercial was done. i think on BBC. after the boy said "feed me", the mother got the bag of chips and twatted him round the back of his head, knocking him out 😂

True story, that young girl is my older sister! Her name is Belinda Crane. She was in Grange Hill as well, played Lucy Mitchell.

Wow... I remember this so well! No idea why anyone thinks this ad is creepy or scary... at the time it was hilarious - so much so that the exaggerated "Feed Me!" line went into most people's store of "funny things to say" (a.k.a. memes, I suppose, when "memes" were still known as "funny things that people heard and then repeated to each other"... back before the Net, when people still TALKED to each other? :D) Mind you, what *IS* deeply scary is that, although we never even noticed it at the time, this is insanely patronising and sexist... how times do change (for the better, usually, thank God!)
