Cool a Marathon/Half marathon event. Didn't know that there's another race org around NY other than NYRR, might as well check them out for some events and I just saw someone passed out at 1:52:00 on the side of the road damn must have pushed too much, hope they/them/he/she/it finished. be

Yeah, it gives some nice options to pick from. I'll probably be running one of their 5k races soon too.

Glad they're useful and enjoyed! I'll post a video soon talking about this year's schedule but as a preview we're doing a different brooklyn half and I got into Berlin again (via lottery) somehow. Very excited 🏃♀️

I challenged myself to risk it and run this race with just 7 weeks to prep, feels good to see the whole run just to get familiar, this will be my first half marathon, thank you for the video !

This was my first official organized in-person half marathon as well! Good Luck! Save yourself on the Flatbush climb.

Thank you so much for your videos. Living in the PNW it’s hard to train in winter. Running with your videos I forget that I’m on a hamster wheel

Love your videos. How do you hold your camera still along the run because I've seen you clapping at some points.

I mount the camera on my head. Keeps my hands free

Just a simple gopro mounted on my head.

I am surprised that your gopro 9 can sustain for almost 2 hours, do you have an external battery?
@TheAverageRunner Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I have it plugged into an external. Though it could go for 1 hour 20 on its own.

i love how your (either garmin or other) gps tracker accurately tracks 3mile mark when the real panel on the road says 3 mile LOL
@TheAverageRunner2 жыл бұрын
It ended up being off by a few 1/10th of a mile by the end but it is a pretty good little tracker! (link in the description)

best i could do was 46:44 minutes cuz i was running indoor and my ankle was starting to hurt (barefoot ...lol)
@TheAverageRunner2 жыл бұрын
I have a problem with my ankles too even in shoes! For me it's from over-pronation but I'm working to try and strengthen the whole hip to ankle chain to get it fixed.
