This is the shorter "Bard's Ballad Sing-Along Version" of my "fire" mashup of some of Donald's DOOM awesome limericks. Fire
Oh fire
Some children come to wonder
And some to wonder why
But most come here to suffer
And all come here to die.
The sun will rise in thunder
Soon nothing will be said
About the drowning of the oceans
And the nature of the dead.
The bad man rants, the madman raves
One sings of war and one of graves.
Some say that they have it sussed
They buy the crooks and sell the just.
But lone and level is the sand
I think it helps us understand
How those who built the shining city
Worshipped hate and punished pity.
Of course the strong despise the weak
And make them turn the other cheek.
They monetise the timid geek
And demonise the angry freak.
But here’s a lesson never learned
They’ll never spend what they’ve earned
A banquet of the glittering night
Is one of piss and blood and shite.
The crops are failing
The TV is full of smiles
We tolerate what should be hated
For this we’ll be obliterated.
Night is full of fire
…full of fire
The darkness in the heart of man
Shines brighter than the sun.
And man can sit where once he ran
And murder everyone.
The darkness is what keeps her lit
Earth’s all atrocity and fun
But we’ve a switch that can be hit
To emulate the sun.
The dead should do the grieving
God knows they’ve got the time
And those who think of leaving
Must leave without a crime.
The living need no wealth or riches
And nobody needs hunger
But men still go to die in ditches
And poor men feed on anger.
The crops are failing
The TV is full of smiles
We tolerate what should be hated
For this we’ll be obliterated.
Night is full of fire!

Four million years, we left few traces
Ambling in the human races
Then we grew and cut starchy grains
And stored them safely from the rains.
Our kings and priests were accidental
Their gods were absolutely mental
But now we go to fields of oil
No grains grow in poisoned soil.
Between the black hole and the void
Where we were briefly raptured,
Our lives were lies in celluloid
And we were carbon captured.
We thought we really mattered
But we never had control,
And our instruments were shattered
In the blackness of the whole.
The crops are failing
The TV is full of smiles
We tolerate what should be hated
For this we’ll be obliterated.
Night is full of fire!
…full of fire.
We tolerate what should be hated
That’s why we won’t be tolerated.
We tolerate the mansioned brats
Who set their dogs on we poor rats.
We tolerate their laws and jails
Their charities and moron tales.
We tolerate what should be hated
For this we’ll be obliterated.
You should be annoyed
When the void is closed to you.
And the future's dead.
Fuck their pensions and their verses
Fuck the tow bars on their hearses.
So goodbye to the naked ape
The grain is better than the grape.
There is a time for Doomers to speak truth and justice to the powers in this world.
And there is a time for Doomers to say ‘ fuck it, let’s dance’.
Now is the time for dancing in the fire.
The crops are failing
The TV is full of smiles
We tolerate what should be hated

We’ll laugh until the whole world cries
And dance like atoms in the skies.
