Watching this on Joel's pov hurted me a lot more than it hurted him;; he was actually doing so well and he came 5th I think? And on the new round he came down to 20s and did not do as well as the first round

Is it possible to do an elytra hop off of a speed pad in section 2 because if you land then you get the speed right? Or is it taken away when you land, or does speed just not work with an elytra, I'd like to see a participant try

Speed doesn't work with an elytra. you do get the speed effect, as seen by the FOV change. It just doesn't do anything.
