Her Former home is the most beautiful to me, because I love very girly styles. I’ve always been a very girly girl, even though I did have 2 sons first! I did decorate their bedrooms in boy things. Then I had a daughter, she’s not as girly girl as I am, but she does love girl things, and both of our favorite color is pink. I absolutely loved having my 2 sons, and I would have never traded them for a girl. God gave me a girl, when he decided too. I Love Carrie, I love how she dresses, and I absolutely love her voice. She has a very beautiful family, and to me Carrie is also extremely beautiful. Carrie, is one of my very favorite singers! Hopefully one day, God will give Carrie a daughter.

I absolutely do not begrudge anyone the right to spend their money however they wish. I just don’t understand why anyone would need such a huge home for such a small family. I would build a home that size if I planned on extended family living with me. I just don’t understand it. I like the 400 acres. There’s so much that could be done with that.

She said it's their forever home. You're not looking 40, 100, 140 years from now like they are. They have plenty of room in the house in hopes one day it will be full of children, granchildren, and great grandchildren running around. They have enough acreage they can have a family compound. Their children could build there and one day grandchildren build there. But there is always the "Main House" that everyone gathers at for all the holidays and family functions. They want their "Main Home" to stand the test of time of pitter pattering feet for generations to come! 💝

And when family comes in for the holidays…they are most likely staying for a week or more. I am guessing the family doesn’t utilize the entire house for daily living. Probably a half of it serves more as a bed and breakfast for family and friends and the amenities keep everyone entertained.

However, my parents taught me early in life to always consider others, never to flaunt money, and to give give give to those in need. Jealousy is a word that is not in my vocabulary, Shelley. In Georgia most of our pastors make very good salaries, BUT not to the point of having enough PROPERTY to have several fruit trees, as they do take up space. I do realize that the cost of living is higher in California, and I thank God that I don’t live there. But,YOUR response is just downright selfish and unworthy of a true Christian!

I don't get why people get so mad at the ones who worked so hard to have to afford things like this? I would be more upset if they were selfish and not help others but she and Mike donate to various of charities throughout the years. She just doesn't boast about it, she knows that's not what God wants her to do. She likes her life private, people don't need to know what they do with their money just like you don't like people knowing what you do with yours. Carrie and Mike are ones I don't get jealous or upset with but there are so many other celebrities that money was given to them, not earned or the celebrities that feel the need to brag in the news what charities they donate too or the celebrities that ask us blue collar people to donate money when they have millions to donate. Those are the ones that get under my skin.
