I know some people are saying this happened too fast, that we didn't see enough of their journey first. What I saw was them go from nodding acquaintances to friends who began to rely on each other. When that friendship turned into awareness. When awareness turned into interest. Interest led to their first kiss. DANTE'S heart started changing when Sam kept him from shooting Peter. SAM started seeing him in a different light after that kiss. Eventually we got their first time together, which brought us to today, with a lot of little and big tent pole moments in between. Was it the BEST build in the history of soap operas? No, it wasn't, but it WAS a build, crafted since before this time last year and THIS is the culmination of all we saw. As a Sante fan, I'm completely satisfied. I don't know what's next but I'M basking in this moment repeatedly!
