My mom (69 years old) remembers the paper straws and the burgers actually where much healthier then. She remembers the food being more local and original than what those chains have today. She agrees the quality has MASSIVELY decreased for its worth since then.

What people miss in this video , is that : 1. Yes the sizes have gotten bigger, but so did the prices. 2. The ingredients are not the same, despite the same look. 3. This is a video comparison between 1950's menu and today's menu. But then this is year 2017, so how would they replicate a 67 year old menu 100 % accurately? - The answer is they have not. Reason? The reason that it's a treat in Europe isn't because it's more expensive (which it is), it's because other than Norway, Switzerland and a couple of other countries America's average income is higher than Europe and the cost of living is lower. I'm 10 years old and I've seen the movie where it shows you the McDonald's story.So,basically there are 2 brothers they invented mcdonald's in only one city in the United States.One day it became really popular and a guy came to taste it too,that guy really liked it so he asked the 2 brothers permission to build mcdonald's in other states,they said no of course.But he ignored them,he went and built mcdonald's in more states and ,there you have it the mcdonald's story long story short basically.

Lol, because I regularly use coupons at the Burger King locations around Cancun, and the attendants always look me up and down, a tall, rock-faced cyclist that will usually be placing his order while covered in sweat, and remark to me that my two dollar coupon is good for a small burger with small fries and a small soda. I always give them a horrible grin and tell them that the coupon is good for what our ancestors would consider a regular sized manly meal.
