I applied at McDonald's and got a call for an interview, It went great and the interviewer was impressed as well, sadly, they didn't hire me because my cousin was working there. TIP: if u wanna work at a place where you have a relative, ask them first if the company allows relatives working together, if it's not allowed, then don't write or say anything that will make them think you have a relative because they will definitely decline your application.

@@iseethingswithmyeyesandu yes you’d have to show them at least a work permit. u can use drivers license too or state id. im not sure about ss, but soon youll have to file taxes because u have a job so u definitely have to show them documents

update : the lady got on the meet and asked me which town I lived in cause she thought I lived somewhere else, and which one I applied to. Then she said she had to go check something at the restaurant and she’d be back in an hour… so she never came back, so I called up there, they said they’d call me back…never did. So rude and unprofessional but I need a job so I reapplied and I have another interview tomorrow.

Peeps I just wanna say don’t stress I’m like the most quiet awkward person ever right and I had my maccas interview today went in bout 10 mins early and waited the lady interviewing me said she had to be quick cause she had to get back to work. All she asked me was to tell her a bit about myself why I want to work there if I had any past jobs and my availabilities things like that, didn’t even go for the full 15 minutes then she said they’d get back to me in a week 40 mins later I get an email saying I’m accepted🤣 If I can do it you can too😭💛

It's comforting seeing how many ppl are interviewing for mcdonalds these past few weeks, mine's tomorrow update: did my interview and wth they ask so much qs it’s mad,, I was shocked bc it’s literally McDonald’s and they out here asking me 20qs minimum. The qs were grand tho, some a bit weird tbh. The questions are basically catergorised into 4 sections. Some qs I got were - tell me about yourself - who’s your role model -what does respect mean to you -how would you greet a customer -how would you treat a customer who is visibly in a bad mood -tell me a time in your life, school life or work life that you enjoyed and why -tell me a time where you were under pressure and how you dealt with it -tell me a time at work where you were under pressure, the task and how you dealt with it -if you were a brand what brand would you be (was expecting this but still..what kind of q is that 💀💀) -why is fast and friendly service important -is fast service or friendly service more important -why is a smart appearance important in a work place -if I were to ring your teacher now what would they say about you they asked more but I can’t remember, I thought for sure they’d ask ‘why do you want to work here’ or ‘why should we hire you’ 💀💀 update: bagged the job, I'm officially employed. I honestly thought I was going to become a mcdonalds reject for a few hours

Just remember keywords on the important questions and never make it sound too scripted! Make it like a formal conversation between you and the manager :))

I have a Question is there an option to just be a cleaner at McDonald's as a Crew member like let's say u don't wanna be at the front register or wrap the burgers can u tell them hey I wanna clean the store scrub the windows mop the floors do the dishes is it an option to just do that at McDonald's if u are not good at other crew member positions? Or do they force you to work and learn every position in the store cuz I'm not really a people person and would rather just be by myself mopping the floors or brushing the outside curbs washing the dishes or throwing out the trash I just would rather be doing that then having to interact with customers and there orders

hello! i dont think so, the workers were divided into either taking orders or making the food. I suggest you apply for the kitchen position if you dont want to interact with customers.
