The reason why McDonald's food in Italy tastes better is because the laws here are different: - The entire food supply chain must be traceable from start to finish - Many artificial colours, preservatives and flavors are prohibited - Most of the ingredients used by Mc-Donald's has to be Italian (and therefore can be tracked more easily)

You've satisfied my curiosity. Seriously, if I'm in Italy, there is no way I would go to McDonalds. I'm looking for Italian food. But there is a certain curiosity in a macabre sort of way. Do they serve wine or beer? It's certainly different from the US.

Good day, thank you for your tips, excellent! I have a question. My wife is a salad and vegetable girl, not vegan. Do the restaurants have salads as well as pasta on menu? Other than vegan video, not much is shown currently on this topic. Cheers from Canada, is is visiting Italy first couple weeks of Sept this year.

Ciao. In the mayory of restaurants and trattorie you can find vegetarians and vegan dishes, also in small village like I live. And the "insalatone" ( big salad ) are very commons on the menu

Great vid! You could do a similar vid with their breakfast menu as well. We would grab a quick bite and un caffe before early trains. Great take away option to enjoy on an early departure, especially when nothing else is open.

The best McDonald’s I’ve ever had was in Barcelona Spain. I had it in Rome, Paris, Mexico, Spain and the USA. Barcelona wins in my book!

Thwre is a mcdoogals on the corner of Via Ugo Bassi abd Via dell'indepenza in Bologna. We walked past it every day and the smells wafting from it were intoxicating...but with only 63 meals to be had in Italy, we could not waste one ot those on something we don't even eat at home. BUT, I bet it blows the US based ones out of the water with their loval food quality. Fun video though!

@@allyson1691 Absolutely! We used to eat really light lunch on the go in Italy...but have finally come around to taking our time and looking at it as a third opportunity to get another great meal while we are there!

It was so nice to meet you when me and my husband were in Florence at Piazza di Michealangelo. We went to McDonald's in Pisa and were very impressed with the food. It's definitely worth a visit when in Italy ☺️

McDonald’s was great. We were there for 3 weeks and you sure get sick of pizza and pasta. The food was ok but pretty expensive for just pizza and pasta.

Regarding the pricey pizza and pasta, maybe there was a mix-up in the places you tried. Italy usually offers a range of options with varying prices, so it's a bit of a hit or miss. Oh man we loved Italy and this was our second time. We definitely went away from the busier places but our dollar in NZ is not great. It is what it is and we went to many of the places you mentioned in all your awesome videos.

The double cheeseburger I had. It’s nothing like in the US. The meat taste better I noticed right away. I’m going back in March. I’m sure I’ll try something else. I let you know.
