I have no idea why I watch and enjoy these videos. I’m 53 and worked at Hardee’s for 2 weeks back In my teenage days. Went to college for aerospace engineering and now work in the IT Industry. These are some of the most satisfying videos and I’m not able to explain why. You’re like a McDonald’s Special Operations member. Slow is smooth . . . Smooth is fast. Your tone is calm, you’re polite to your coworkers. Always communicating whats out or what you’re waiting on. Way to go.

As someone who used to work a support desk they now supervise, I will always recommend to anyone to keep dipping into the job you used to do at the level you started if you're now managing that role. My biggest worry when I made supervisor was that I'd lose touch with the job my team was doing. I make it a point that I'll still jump in to do role I used to do to not only help my team but to keep in the loop of what they're going through on the daily and understand how it's changed from what it was like when I did it to now and how that can effect them. Getting stuck in is not only an amazing feeling but it helps build a respect and understanding with those you over see and manage, and allows you to appreciate things from their perspective.

So I remember when I worked there, you used to pull the wrapper out, place the sandwich on it, fold the bottom over, then the top over the bottom, then make little triangular flaps on the side and fold those under over each other. That was when then made the sandwiches and kept them in their warmer for 10 minutes. They also used to make sandwiches that had lettuce on them like Big Macs, McChickens, Grilled Chickens, Daily Double with a paper ring that you would place around the sandwich so the lettuce would stay on your sandwich before you take it home and unwrap it 😊

I mean.. the camera won't be rolling if there isn't action, so naturally product will be replaced when the camera is rolling, because it's a rush. It's coincidence, not correllation. In non-rush times, the shelves, fries etc still have their associated "hold time" timers, which is the buttons that they press every time they put in a fresh load, and they chuck the product out if there are no takers (at least that's the plan) and prepare a new batch with a new shelf life.

I worked at McDonalds in my senior year of High School in 1993. For some reason, I loved watching this and the small changes since then. (I made 4.35 an hour. Hope you guys are doing well more than that!) Front loved how during Sat/Sun changeover it was just me back there and I got everything from Filet O Fish to McChicken and hamburger/cheeseburgers out on time. I make way more now, but its still a point of pride :)

McDonald's must have a much different menu in the US compared to Canada. In Canada, we've always had bagels, but never had biscuits. The only fast food place that has biscuits is Tim Hortons.

Honestly looks fun. Like keeping up with the orders. Memorizing the process for each sandwich.. breakfast and lunch/dinner.. it seems that certain things have color coded trays for quick grabbing of items to make the sandwiches. I used to stock shelves at a grocery store for 3rd shift. We turned putting up cases of canned goods into a game. Who could put up the most in a set time. Friendly competition.. even if you're against yourself, is really good at motivating you at work.

Legit inspiring me to stop and think twice about my job performance lol. I do my best but get overwhelmed just as fast. I had my actual first "bad" day this weekend where we really weren't in sync, and I was pulling a lot of orders by myself. My self-negativity was getting to me, and while I didn't take it out on my coworkers, it was showing in my work flow, and to customers too. Dgaf in the moment, but embarrassing to me now the more I mull on it. Def wish more leads and bosses were like you, no matter the job field. You don't stop what you started in just because you're in a higher pay grade.

It is interesting to see how McDonald's works in another country, and what are the differences, either in the procedure, the menu or the equipment. What surprised me the most is that you use one pair of tongs for all kinds of UHC products such as egg and immediately after the product with pork, this is prohibited in our country due to cross contamination, I quite enjoyed it

@@jaungiga Yes, that is one of the reasons, but the main reason is to avoid, for example, a person who has a strong allergy to eggs, and for that reason orders a sandwich where there are no eggs, since the same pair of tongs are used as for eggs so also on meat, it can still be transferred, and then it just depends.. Maybe nothing will happen, but it also risks

One of the all time best breakfast sandwiches there is and ever was, the steak, egg, and cheese bagel at McyDy's. Hope it stays on their menu for good now. 🥯

I have to admit table was probably the most fun part of working at McDonald's. Especially if its just yourself with no help to make the food. It's like competing with yourself on speed and precision. (At least for me)
