When battery goes flat on fob, where do you stick the key to start the car?

you press the start button with the fob. The chip still works, just passive, doesn't broadcast with dead battery.

Sometimes my 2020 cx-9 wont unlock the doors when started and in park, I have to turn it off to unlock all doors? Any idea why

Problem: same remote on older mazda. Replaced batteries, fob doesnt work. Problem with transmitter or car battery? Had to jump start the thing due to car not even starting and the fob worked for a couple weeks on and off and then stopped working again.

bought a mazda cx5 (basic) 2020 couple of month ago and would like to know or how can I start my car remotely. Asked the dealer where I abought it from and told me the car is not equip for remote start.

Seems many Mazda's have issues with this. My 2018 CX5 GT fob works fine, tailgate button works too, just not the button on the driver's door to unlock the door, sucks having to dig out my keys to unlock the doors, especially when my hands are full. And I know I know, 1st world problems, but you pay enough for all these features, they should at least last longer than the warranty which conveniently expired this year...3 years or 60k, I'm not even at 50k, but the 3 years has passed. This along with the display bubbling and some pretty cheap factory installed parts will have me going elsewhere for my next vehicle.

Im gonna try this because i unlocked my mazda cx 5 and only passenger door opens. I thought I had fixed it on the settings but i guess not. And i even moved the child lock bar on the doors.

I have a problem with my Mazda hatch year 2018 also. It locks automatic by self when I stop and get out of car. Furthermore, I cannot open car in morning by remote control in one press. It often takes for a while pressings to open it

My Taiwanese girlfriend locked herself out in the middle of the winter while i was shopping in the store. She didn't realise that if the key fob is not within the range and she steps out, the car locks itself lol. Her daughter was locked inside, she was outside...I laughed so hard when she got angry with me telling me her Volkswagen didn't have this feature 🤣🤣

Use the release and Pull the key out of the fob and insert it into the driver's side lock and turn counter clockwise to lock all doors and to unlock insert and turn clockwise - on my Mazda 3, it only unlocks the driver's door...

I you won't lace up your boots all the way, you need to at least make sure the flap is pressed in, and the pants are on the outside of the boot. Just sayin'
