I’ve seen your videos and I made a comparison between McDonald’s Malaysia and Thailand. From your reaction and spending, I can say McDonald’s Malaysia is more exciting: the menu has more options, more graphics. No one will come to tell you that the item you paid for is sold out and ask you to exchange it. The fried chicken is more crispy and thick. Look at how busy this restaurant is, so it's true that Malaysians love to eat. Lol

Bubur is porridge in English. McD has only bubur ayam (chicken porridge). GCB is the short form of Grilled Chicken Burger. It's quite nice, less spicy, with grilled chicken patty. When you choose table service, there's a number stand at the side of the ordering machine whereby you can input the number into the ordering system (based on the number stand). The Korean Burger (black burger) is a new introduction to the menu. It is not a permanent meal in McD. It replaced previously on promotion burger (the Samurai Burger). McD in Malaysia always have different burger for a certain length of period, usually about one month and depending on festive seasons. For example we have Foldover for Ramadhan (Fasting Month), and Prosperity Burger (Chinese New Year). McD introduced fried chicken as to compete with KFC.

The porridge is normally eaten at supper, that's 12am ...lol ....and its also like a meal when someone is ill. Kinda like your grandma/mom prepares it when you're sick...( like chicken soup when you're down with flu)... we even cook it and bring it to someone in hospital ... it aids digestion and helps when you have no appetite... that's my take on the porridge ... its easy on the tummy

The fried chicken in McDonalds is the same recipe across all of Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines etc). It is so spicy, juicy and crunchy. Perfect recipe. I still prefer Popeyes (as long as it is fresh and cooked properly), but Southeast Asian McDonalds fried chicken is a close 2nd for me. Since you're in Malaysia, you have to try Nasi Kandar spots. There is a place in KL called "Restoran Safron" and their fried chicken is the best I've had in the world and I've worked all over the Southern states and have had every famous chain and mom and pop place in the US.

Nasi lemak is eaten together with all the condiments and the side dish. Not separately. I don't know why foreigners loves to compare with the local nasi lemak. 🤦🏻♀️. Fast food restaurants has to improvise the local dishes to suit everyone taste. Some people can't take too much spices like foreigners/tourists even some Malaysians too so that's why the Nasi lemak sambal is modified to have that bit of spicy which the customers can take it.

The Perfect Day in Kuala Lumpur or Itinerary for First Timers!Whether you want to dive deep into culture and history, gawk at gleaming modern architecture or indulge your inner foodie, few cities give you as much diversity as Kuala Lumpur. Best time to visit Kuala Lumpur Since Kuala Lumpur is located close to the equator, the weather in Kuala Lumpur is hot and sticky year-round, with average temperatures ranging from 26˚C to 33˚C (79˚F to 91˚F). So the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur is when you have the time available! Its tropical climate does mean that rain can strike at any time of year, but generally, it’ll be a heavy but short affair. May to July and December to February tend to be the most stable months.

How to get around Kuala Lumpur The best way to get around Kuala Lumpur is by bus, train, or taxi. It’s fairly easy to get your head around the bus system after a day or 2, and you can even find a fare-free bus service operated by Go KL City Bus. Alternatively, you can use the MRT lines that include the monorail, LRT, and KTM Komuter trains. Fares vary from RM1.10 (0.25 USD) to a maximum fare of RM6.40 (1.5 USD) based on the journey.

The consensus is mcds fried chicken is way superior in every aspect to kfc which blows my mind. Kfc is a joke seriously. How could they let that happen? 😂 besides the fried chicken, the best thing at McDonald's is the breakfast menu P.s. bubur is congee/porridge. Just like the nasi lemak you have to temper your expectations. Of course those dishes outside are much better. 100 plus is the best selling soft drink in Malaysia beating Coke. Technically its an isotonic drink.
