Still see loads of people complaining about articulation. If you have this figure for 20 bucks and still moan about articulation, get lost and just stick to your repainted marvel legend kids toys and leave us people who appreciate a beast of a figure for what it is. This one figure has more detail and sculpt than anything hasbro has ever done. Period. I feel sorry for people who would give up all this detail for a thigh swivel. Smh

Softer plastic is not how I would describe it. The surface texture is like a fine powder (where it's smooth) but comparing the softness Marvel figures are definitely gooeir. They bend and flex in the middle of the limbs, and most definitely at the joint discs. McF figures don't come with flexible limbs or joints. I've had a couple warped accessories, but no figure warping in my pieces Also of note, just as a lunt of comparison, I just grabbed my Red Hulk, and desire his double knees, it sure looks like he only gets about the same range as Devastator there. It's easy to get lost in point counts with articulation and lose track of range of motion. Is a double knee really better if it doesn't flex? Just food for thought. Enjoyed the review, keeping checking back in with McF from time to time, I truly believe he's changing the game again.

You’re right, I think it’s more that the torso is softer than say a legends torso. Legends torsos are a very hard plastic while the limbs are softer. With McFarlane if feels like their torsos use the same plastic as their limbs. I think that’s what I was more thinking of. If that makes sense

The first few waves of Fortnite figures had very hard torsos, but then he mixed in a few figures that were done like Storm Collectibles where it was a hollow rubber over suit on top of an articulated skeleton, and then after those, when people saw how much the movement was, his torsos are.... softer, I guess is the right word. I have to say though, I'm currently working on a custom built on the All Might body from My Hero Academia, and firstly, dream base figure, he's all ball joints so he boiled and popped easily, but the plastic is weird. It cuts easily, like butter. Sanding is a nightmare, anything more than surface marring just takes vastly more time and effort than it ought to. I usually hand file my figures, and I'm pulling the dremel out tomorrow to do some articulation mods. It fell like defeat, but my files just won't bite in to this stuff. That said, the pieces feel velvety in the hand, but not soft like a thick overlay or something. To put this another way, I don't think you could torso crack a McF figure like a Marvel Legends. As you note, that hard shell torso of a Marvel Legend would pop at the seam where it's been glued,and you'd have two distinct shell halves. I think if you tried that with a McF figure, again in my case I'm thinking All Might, I think it would warp and tear, and you could drill holes in it, but you're not popping anything apart at the seams.

But it is such a boring cause Hasbro only remake the figure using the same mold over and over again and just repaint it. McF offer a new fresh line up even it 'always' bat thing... But I think it is going to become better and better. I just hope hasbro could make a better or new molding for a remake or new up coming figures.

Mcfarlane's BAF wave just have 4 figures, so the BAF is only 20.00. Unlike Marvel Legends 6 figure BS.
