Would be great if Mcfarlane did a 7" scale Appa. Then he would fit better with this line. Though I highly doubt they will 'cause he would be massive. Great wave, and glad I picked them all up.

I think the deal breaker for these figures is the lack of ankle and wrist joints. I just think those are essential points of articulation nowadays.

That Diamond Select Sokka looks like the actor who was playing Sokka in the Avatar Play in that one episode lol. I love these I got all of them. Now I just want Azula, Toff, and Iroh.

You make some really great ATLA figure reviews! Hopefully one day we’ll get one single ultimate line, with every definitive figure, with ALL of their iconic accessories in just 1, from each of the 3 books. Don’t mind paying what we’d pay collecting 4 different lines if they included all the necessary accessories in just 1 from each book. For example, a definitive book 1 Aang should come with Momo, closed staff, open glider, air ball and avatar state head & hands. Sokka should always come with his club, knife, boomerang and their sheaths. Katara should come with a removable accurate necklace with the design painted on, several water accessories and the water skin pouch. Book 1 Zuko should come with his helmet and several different fire accessories. So on so forth. The line should also make iconic versions of characters like the Blue Spirit, North Pole Zuko, painted lady Katara, warrior Toph & warrior Sokka with the black sword. Also I’d kill for an Avatar Kyoshi, Avatar Kuruk, definitive Avatar Roku & don’t get me started on Legend of Korra lol.

Kool, I really like the show but had no idea they made toys. I saw this awesome video where this dude made his own Avatar game using Unreal Engine it was pretty kool. EDIT: Aang's mouth seems more wide open on the deluxe version. It kinda sucks that Appa isn't to scale lol

Nice review! I passed on all of the DST stuff... Just not a fan of the articulation. I do like what you did with the DST tunic on the BST AXN body, that looks awesome! I grabbed the BST AXN one due to price and articulation/accessories, and I would agree its the best release. Very odd to say that given the companies they are competing with, but they really did do a good job on him. I was going to get the McFarlane 7 inch figures, but I think I like my Avatar stuff in the 5 inch scale.

The Blue Spirit Zuko? I have him and I highly recommend it. Aang is the same avatar state one but the 2 pack is worth it for the Zuko alone. Great sculpt, decent/expected articulation, comes with 2 swords (cut in half really) that hold well and it stands decently also. Similar to Sokka i'd say.
