The only reason I like it is because I’m stuck with the full green one. I would be okay with the light green and black gold release if it wasn’t so much. It’s just worth to get the 2 pack at that point.

I definitely like this Kyle Rayner figure more because the green is so much better than he was before snd and I also like this Kilowog because he has cool weapons despite not being aa classic, However, Both Kyle and Kilowog can go great with Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart Green Lantern from McFarlane, I may not have this 2 pack but fantastic review Brad.

Great review. I got this 2 pack recently and really love it. I missed the bus on the original black and white kyle which I wanted the most. I saw some high prices on the secondary market for him. Saw this 2 pack and pre ordered it. For the price of the kyle I wanted on the 2ndary market I get a kyle with a better green color tone and an awesome kilowog. Love this set

I also appreciate the Kyle rerelease. I never liked the green on the original release and the only one I ever found at Target had a misprinted chest emblem. The Kilowog figure is also very nice (ESPECIALLY the ring on his fist) so this set is mostly wins to me (double jointed elbows on Kilowog would've made it perfect).

I can't wait to get my hands on those two figures. But now I hope that Todd McFarlane would make a DC MULTIVERSE Mega Fig out of Arkillo. Or maybe a 2 pack of Arkillo and Scarecrow of the Sinestro Corps or Arkillo and Superman of the Sinestro Corps. That'll be pretty cool.

Kilowog, poor man's Kalibak that the Toddfather makes us pay dearly (BAF Beastboy reuse for 70), sad. My humble advise for the smart, if you are in dire need of a Kilowog, get yourself the Super Powers version (with the missing white gauntlets), grab the one from DC Direct or wait for a single version in the future (hopefully not white-gauntlet-less) and do not support this 2-pack robbery business model started with the Anne Hathaway Catwoman.

Well…. I never got a chance to get the previous release as it never made it to the targets around me nor was it even offered on the Target App…. I wouldn’t say the green is “lighter”…. But the previous had more “yellow”

I rather liked that original Target exclusive Kyle Rayner because I appreciated that his color scheme set him apart and that he wasn't just homogenized into the rest of the Lantern figures despite that they're all supposed to be wearing "uniforms". But I don't think for one second this is McFarlane "correcting" a mistake. I think it's a way for him to overcharge for a mega fig that's impossible to pass on. I think most of us know that this 2pk was the perfect opportunity to release the FIRST Guy Gardner, a character we're still waiting on after the start of Year 5 of having the license. Like....geez! But, that would probably mean spending money on a new sculpt, tooling, etc.. Why not save money by just pairing the figure that is all new with a simple repaint of a figure you already released? Doesn't this make the 5th Rayner?! I just don't think that's justified (for whatever reason) when we're still waiting on a FIRST of the last OG human GL. Kyle is great because all previous Kyles were great. Kilowog is absolutely AMAZING! Love him to death! Extremely well done mega fig that actually comes with stuff.

Hey Brad, unless there was another single release that flew past me I think you swapped the heads from the two past Kyle Rayners. The one that came with the lighter green had a more serious face. I think you got the smiling head sculpt from the one that had the light green part on his torso. Summing it up to the versions you showed had different head sculpts out of the package but since you swapped the heads now they are completely the same besides the repaint.

He says that they’re exactly the same with just a repaint but the older figure that he showed (the one that is just a lighter green) had the head of another release of Kyle Rayner (the one with the all green).
