I started with Omega Batman and didn’t pursue the others. I just got the Scarecrow and Batman Last Knight. I’m awaiting the Wonder Woman one for the arms. I don’t think I’m gonna have fun. My Bane BAF is solid after assembly. You don't need any heat or glue... Just about 30lbs of pressure to get everything to pop into place. Keep shoving as hard as you can and the legs and hands will stay on forever with pretty good articulation too. Good luck.
@ronstewart63623 жыл бұрын
My only issue was with the legs on bane. The arms, head and hands were fine. The top is so heavy and the pegs aren't big enough for the legs. Still love the over all fig.

Honestly, thought the same thing....but heat is your friend! Used a blow dryer to heat both ends for the hands and the legs, once they're on though....they're on and not coming off! Took a good 20 minutes to get it done, but once it's done everything is nice and very secure! I can hold my Bane figure up by the hand and they don't fall off, same can be said for the legs. It sucks we had to use the heat treatment, but honestly it's a great BAF, just not a lot of people willing to give the effort to put it together! One of my favorites from the McFarlane line so far!
@purvdragon-sensei3 жыл бұрын

Hello Mister Cook, I know you're busy. Do you think with something like the baf for bane is it possible you may have to do something like switch the leg joints to establish a more secure leg on the bane baf? Also doesnt it seem like McFarlane figures, have at times, a play with custom attitude to their products, example Warhammer figures with color and without?
@jasonbrabant65453 жыл бұрын
If you move the pegs for the legs around first to loosen them and then pull the cut out up a little you can make the legs pop into place with a bit of pressure they will pop into place. That’s what worked with my Bane BAF

Just a quick follow-up to my earlier comment. I did get my Bane put together today. For me, the legs seem to stay on okay but I do see what you are saying with the hands. The lip inside of the forearms is way to subtle for the wrists to firmly click paste them.

Greg can't you put the legs in ice water to shrink the port holes where the legs should go? Maybe that will fix the issue. Please let me know if you try it.
@blackyshepherd91723 жыл бұрын
A buddy of mine fixed the legs and hands by putting a few layers of superglue on the peg side of the connections and let them dry completely between each application. This thickened them up pretty well and he says that they stay together well enough for careful posing and shelf display. He said it took like 5-6 layers on each peg. You could also use UV resin, I think. Paint it on, expose it to UV, and then do another layer. That might be more durable than superglue.

You think a hair dryer would help with seating in the legs? Tolerance might be tight and a hair dryer would make the plastic just pliable enough to connect the two pieces. Same could be said for the hands.
@phatcartoon3 жыл бұрын
I had trouble at first with the legs. Thought I was doing something wrong, but then I noticed everyone else was having the same problem. I did find a trick that worked for me. I started by putting the legs on backward. I pushed them in, and as I continued pushing I turned the legs around 180. Now they are solid. This didn't work so well with the hands though. The hands don't pop off super easily, so I am okay with them for now.
@johns61603 жыл бұрын
I had the exact same issue. Couldn't get the legs to stay in and the hands would Pull off so easily. I decided to use a heat gun and heated the peg holes for the legs and hands. Once they were soft to the touch I pushed the pegs in and cooled them down with water. Now the Figure is perfect and it doesn't fall apart. I know it's ridiculous that you have to even do that in the first place but at least there's a solution I guess lol.
@arnoldnavarro213 жыл бұрын
well go tell neca that because they've been making us boil them and heat em up because we eat there figures up like cake
@pbrady1873 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the leg is supposed to be a wide socket attachment. The flat peg part should be tapered on the edges and I think that is meant to snap into the hole and catch under the lip of the hole. I think the issue is the short flange isn't going deep enough to get past the lip.
@hectorgarcia67833 жыл бұрын
I had the same issue with the legs but I just put a lot of pressure and just keep turning it to right and it worked.
@PawPawKellum3 жыл бұрын
For the arm, just line the peg up in line with the length of the arm, straight as possible... then push like you mean it and it'll pop in. His hands keep falling out because this guy didn't pop in. The legs and hands need a bit of an angle to go in and they'll slip in noticeably. Mostly, concentrate on keeping things lined up & feel for them to seat.
