I'm giving mine a semi gloss, satin finish to better match the movie version. The silver difference does come through on camera, it is very noticable. The Flash version you need to treat like you would a computer screen, hit it with some antistatic solution. I'm compulsive enough to actually hit it with some Turtle Wax. I missed out on the NECA version, so this is a great replacement, and I'm so happy they gave him head articulation. Ramen Toy is making a canopy and gun kit for this.

You can either try to make the Flash version more accurate, by adding the two-seater option and fixing the profile of the canopy, as well as repainting and adding the machine guns. Or…you can Jokerize it and give it to the inevitable Jack Nicholson Joker that McFarlane is going to do.

Search for Ramen Toy CAG. They are making a better canopy and a gun set. But as someone said before, most likely a victim of the whole DC "No guns" mandates. At first I thought it was because these are, despite what some feel, for kids. They legally have to be in order to get that shelf space in store. Which is why you could only get the weapons pack online. But why they apply it to 1/6, which is 100% not for kids, is beyond me.
