I feel a little frustrated because I love what Todd is doing with his figures, the paint and sculpt are by far the best at the price point l, and the articulation for me is more than enough I'll even say that is better than ML, I'm just not in to the designs of the characters I'm just here waiting in silence for those classic looks

I feel like now it's like 20% regular universe DC characters to 80% alt universe versions. I was really hoping at the start of the line that the ratio would be flipped, and that we would have the bulk of the JLA and famous villains by now. I mean the other figures are cool but I can't believe we're getting a Bat-Darkseid BaF BEFORE getting a regular Darkseid.

@@Thedudesbro I think the problem is that we all have our own preferences to looks and designs of characters, even Tod and you can see what he likes haha, but he should give different looks a chance, and that bat Darkseid looks so good I might get it haha but I'll prefer a regular Darkseid

My only problem is that some figures really need accessories, And Todd says that it cost more for accessories because it’s extra plastic, but an easy fix for that would be scaling the figures down to 6 inches, 6 inches is a pretty good size and makes them easy to pose with other lines and you could you that extra inch of plastic for more accessories

I passed on the first nightwing after hearing terrible reviews but got him with redhood and was pleasantly surprised. Maybe because I had very low expectations, I actually really like the figure.

I'll put Devastator up as the Top DC figure of 2020. That level of detail at the pricepoint of only $19.99 😄😄😄👍 Deathstroke is the most disappointing one of 2020. Good sculpt, but the articulation is a mess, and the accessories sucked.

Hi Brad, I don't own all the figures BUT based on what I own and what want to purchase in the future I pretty much agree with you EXCEPT for one thing: "Angry Face" Flash. I own him as opposed to the single figure, and I chose the 2 pack because I liked the face more as well as the hands (mind came with two hands that have bent fingers as opposed to a fisted hand and a karate chop hand.) I would rank him higher. I'd also rank Grim Knight lower but that pretty much it. Great video, thank you!

I have to agree with you Brad I think Thomas Wayne Batman and Red Hood can be serious contenders for top 7 inch 2020 figure. If I had to choose #1, although it would be super difficult, I think I'd have to give it to Red Hood. Hope he continues killing it in 2021!

The Arrow figure works much better if posed with the bow and arrows that came with the DC Collecitbles figures. I would not mind McFarlane giving the CW Flash a figure (preferably in a more recent costumer).

I actually checked out this video (first time watcher) as a shopping tool. lol Some people might say the Golden Eagle WW didn't age well, considering people's feelings toward the film, but I've consistently passed on that figure, when it actually looks pretty good to me. And I liked the film (barely), so why have I passed on a figure I kinda want? I'm pissed at myself for not getting that Rebirth Flash and Teen Titans Animated Cyborg when I had the chance. REALLY wish I had bought that Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman when I had the chance. The unmasked version of him is the ultimate peg warmer in my city. Even though I LOVE the DCAU like any sane fan, I never bought any of the animated series figures because as much as I think Bruce Timm's designs are iconic, those proportions don't translate well into display figures. I'd imagine they'd be incredibly top heavy. I like my Grim Knight figure, but let's be honest. We could absolutely have used more color in that thing. He's almost solid black, except for his mouth, and bat symbol. How about some silver or grey trim on his costume and guns? He's just so monochrome! How about a detachable cape? He wears one in the comics. The head sculpt on the Detective Comics 1000 Batman is the real problem. Dawnbreaker with the flight stand is awesome! He should have come with one more construct. Sad I never got myself a Merciless! I really can't stand the look of the Unchained Armored Superman because of the color scheme, but I've got the Gold Label version which looks way cooler! He should have come with his gold sickle and shield from the comic. What a missed opportunity! Visually, the White Knight Azrael has to be the most striking, "Oh my God!" figure I've seen from the manufacturer. The Action Comics 1000 Superman is okay, but the Rebirth Superman which came out after this video is better because of the better articulation. I see several action figure KZbinrs consistently rank McFarlane Batgirl figures as some of the best he's produced. I don't have a single one, because I'm just not a fan of the character enough I guess. Maybe I'm making a huge mistake not getting the Three Jokers one at my local Target?

For me my favourite is the Arkham Joker, I've waited years for that design to be made and they mostly did a great job with it. Also it was the only one I picked up this year, and sure there's a lot of other figures they've done that look better (some I really don't like the stylized look of) but generally I think they've really hit their stride in the last few releases. I would've maybe got more but I've only got so much space, plus they haven't quite yet tapped into more general versions of characters that I'm more connected to. EDIT: having since got the White Knight figures my favorite DC Multiverse figure from last year would easily be the White Knight Joker, I had so much fun posing that figure more so than any other McFarlane figure I currently own, I don't even mind the design. My only nitpicks are the range at the head and one eye was misprinted so I repainted it. With that said Azrael would be a very close second and the Batman is really nice too.

Brad I would love to see an in depth discussion of your input on comparing spin master dc products with todd mcfarlane dc products...being that they are the two biggest companies with the dc license...please take this into consideration as I feel spin master is unjustly underrated...and mcfarlane gets a bad wrap considering the absolute gems it has produced...they both have valid arguments and I would love to see a comparison and your opinion on the matter...please get back to me on this!

Love this video! I always wonder how each of them would fare if pitted against one another in your view. I, too, did not buy every single figure. This line is actually weird for me because as much as I love the quality and the price, I only bought Batman figures and not other characters. Everybody keeps wishing that they stop doing Batman and do others, so I guess I’ll be saving money in the future if they listen to them lol

McFarlane is overall showing us how he got this contract. Legendary toy run in the making. My humble notes: 1) Red Nightwing seems to be an "off-model" repaint of Blue Nightwing. That sculpt is tailor-made for the blue Rebirth Nightwing suit, but they apparently wanted to sell it as New 52 as well. Unfortunately, they packaged the design card right next to the figure for comparison (similar problem with Animated Batman). "Red" should have a much bigger chest bird, and black banded metal around the neck, forearms, and shins. 2) When you see Flash's expression as "Eeeewww...that's supposed to be Bat-me?" You can't ever un-see it.

Mcfarlane's done a great job so far. I've gotten most all of the DC figures and still have several on pre-order. From what he's shown of upcoming figures, the line is going to get even better. I do wish he'd move away from Batman but at least he's doing Batman figures that are drastically different from one another for the most part. The thing I wish he'd stop doing the most though is store exclusives. This seems to be the year of exclusives for most companies and I hate it. On a different note, I like that you did your rating list in JRPG rating format.
