I'd really like to see that cape attachment be standard for all the cape wearing figures. A non destructive way to swap out the capes.

Target cancelled my pre-order twice I doubt I'll be able to find him at all or at a decent price anywhere online McFarlane and Target really messed up with this release and made many collectors angry.

After 2-3 emails from Target saying I had to renew my preorder Target just up and cancelled my order. I called Target and was able to preorder it again. Really hoping I get this figure and truly regret not asking if I could preorder 2. I would open one and just keep it in cloth cape.

I just got this figure after mooning over it for ages! First, your video majorly helped me decide to get it! Second, I love this figure also! Third, I have done a custom of mine, just the regular body parts and cape, not much alterations mind you, to have what I consider is my Ultimate 80's Batman, so thanks so much for such a super and helpful video! I love the detail and sculpting of the McFarlane range, but the plastic is often so brittle that removable arms and legs etc snap at the joints and need to be glued. With the sculpted cape it's not so bad, but it ruins the posability of the figure with the cloth cape on.

The only McFarlane Batman that I wanted and Target has cancelled every pre-order I placed. Hopefully they re-release it even without the huge cape but with the boots fixed. I would be happy with a regular plastic cape in place of the cloth goods one. That's all I ask, Todd!!

This was the figure that made me fall back in love with the line I put him next to my JL set up and instantly loved it and when I pose him with the rebirth Joker I get excited for more classic stuff from Todd. I was buying all the DC line but it started feeling like a chore.

This figure is cool! Only thing is those arms swapping them in and out are problematic. Seems like the hard cape should’ve been made to put on with the arms still attached or just have two figures all together.

I don't get how people can like how that cape sits on that figure. It's gross-looking, like someone didn't bother to take measurements after doing a rough cut, it looks like he folded a freakin' bed sheet around his neck. The figure itself is fine but Jesus Christ that cape... Can't wait to see custom ones.

Like many, I pre-ordered this and then after months of confirmations, had my pre-order cancelled. Luckily, I was able to pre-order it again. Still waiting for it to arrive but with reviews flowing out, maybe it'll happen soon.

This could have been close to the batman to own, the lack of accuracy on the boots, the mask edge with the skin not fully painted, extra plastic material cape like the three jokers, a wired cape, and a torso joint that can actually be useful.

was able to get one after target put them back up on their site a few days ago. the main issues I've had so far are mostly with the left arm. the bicep peg is kinda wonky and I did have to glue it back onto the arm and the shoulder joint is really tight, it doesn't hinder articulation at all but it makes it really hard to pop the arm back off.

Same here. It seems like a lot of ppl are having problems with his left arm. It took me like 45 min. to get it in, but I finally got it. Now it's super tight and I'll always be afraid to remove it.

It took me almost an hour to get his left arm on using a blow dryer and extreme force, I almost returned him. The bat symbol is a bit sloppy and there was a small amount of glue on his cape. They need to step up the quality control. Other than that I love this figure and will keep it because he just looks so awesome on that stand with the cloth cape, throwing the batarang.

Great review… really not a fan of McFarlane’s DC line; dislike the scale, lack of additional head sculpts and interchangeable goodies and the bathtub toy sheen… but really wanted this particular Batman for the quintessential look you mentioned, too bad the prices are ridiculous

Noooooo you ruined the Three Jokers Batman with panties! The Fabok designed 3 Jokers look is basically the PERFECT Batsuit! I was initally able to preorder the signed edition so the cancellations at Target really hurt. I just hope they eventually show up in the US. PS: do you think that taking off the Detective 1000 arms and cape and putting it under the plastic cape would work? Do the blues match close enough? I was thinking that could be a way to get a display with the plastic cape, and one with the cloth cape as well.

Brad, this was a Useful waste of time;) I love this version. The neck is something to get around by using the cape(s) 😏 seriously it would of been nice to do battle poses from comic scenes. The boots are not too fine a point😏 um yeah the body reuse will suffice. This is probably my favorite Batman costume color and representation. I look forward to getting this figure. I appreciate the comparisons and your take. ✌️
