On Earth-22, over the last decade, many of the Super Heroes we know and love have sequestered themselves to their own areas of isolation, plunging the world into a chaotic power struggle amongst metahumans. Bruce Wayne, however, continues to operate in his Batcave, creating a militia of robots to monitor and maintain order in Gotham City. To suppress the forces Superman and the Super Heroes are amassing upon their return, he joins forces with Lex Luthor to create an army of their own. But Bruce always knows his allies and enemies' true intentions, and when Luthor turns Billy Batson into a weapon, Bruce is there with his forces to aid in the fight.

He is a lot more articulated than i expected, i mean, he is old and crippled in the comic.

I was just going to say that. when Bruce Wayne was chilling in the batcave, he was controlling batdrones to fight crime by remote control and wearing an exo suit for basic motor function. The figure didn't need much articulation and the fans would have accepted it because the first and last and only kingdom come batman figure DC gave us before today had 5 points of articulation and was in a brutal 5 inch scale.

It's impossible to open these packages at night without waking someone. Seems like the design of this figure definitely was a lot more thoughtful for the most part. Strange about the pegs. He probably could've included an unmasked old man Bruce head considering he has zero accessories.

I remember the rocket pack resembling a bunch of tubes on this rendition of Batman that said the "Rocketeer" style jet pack does make more sense

Aw! I remember my DC Direct version. Awesome. This screams nostalgia for me. Loved the story line and the older hero’s fighting the younger ones in the midst of an all out war.

If you Look closely at the Figure there is a hint of the RoboCop Armour Overall. A nice subtle reference. KC is definitely one of the greatest Stories ever told and I am indeed one of the proud owners of this graphic novel among many Others. A very very nice Figure and indeed more charachters should be produced.

I loved how the Kingdom Come storyline was a critique on the "extreme 90s" of comic books at the time. I hope he does the armored Justice League members from Alex Ross' Justice storyline.

Tbere is a 1/12 unlicensed Superman that is out there just released. Also, the Mafex armored WW is close enough for now. I bought all three, but they haven't all been shipped to me yet. Im hoping they scale well together.

i do wish we could remove the back pack - makes you wonder why they glued it when it only takes a peg for that feature -but i hope if they do Superman the head wont be the size of a 5" figure - aside from the gundam long legs Mcfarlane always does he forgot enlarge the heads of his figures - cool review

his chest and shoulders remind me of Robocop, the ties made indents on his gauntlets and the left ear is deformed, But yours looks the same so I assume its a defect in the actual factory mold.
