Personally, I can´t wait for Firestorm (Ronnie) and Creeper. Not to mention, of course, comics accurate Wonder Woman. ...other than that, it would be interesting to see an extreme obscure character like Blue Devil.

The nozzle does not come off! it is a part of the guns mold however if you heat it up you can hold the nozzle tight and pull on the ice effect and it will come out and then you can display the figure shooting the ice effect or without the effect.

I agree 100% with your "checklist" of characters needed for figures. Now I'm a old school collector. I remember as a little boy buying Mego Superheroes action figures at the local Toys R Us. I can't remember exactly when these figures came out, but Mego had exclusive figures which you had to order by mail to get. They had Kid-Flash, Aqua-Lad, Speedy, and Wonder-Girl. A Mego's Teen Titans set I guess. I was so lucky and was able to acquire all of them and I actually had doubles on the Kid-Flash and the Aqua-Lad figures. Back then the Mego figures, while really fun to play with, the figures "logos" like Shazam's⚡, Batman's 🦇, Robin's ®️, Captain America's ⭐, Superman's \Š/ and the Fantastic 4️⃣'s Reed and Sue Richard's 4️⃣ were all attached with a sticker, and after weeks of playing with them the sticker would start to get hair or dirt behind it and it would eventually fall off. Like a tool or a little kid I tried Elmer's Glue, which only made it worse. Iron Man's 🔘 was sewn on but the inside had a yellow 🟡 which also was a sticker, however since it was stuck to a plastic disc it glued back on fairly easily, but the others were not so simple. Still, those were some amazing figures. They had some awesome figures too, except they lacked villains. Except for Batman's baddies, the🃏Joker🃏, the 🐧Penguin🐧, the ❓Riddler❔, 🐈‍⬛Catwoman🐈‍⬛, also and oddly enough they had a Superman villain, Mr. Myxlplyx? That one always puzzled me? Then they had on the Marvel side, the 🐊Lizard🦎, and the Green Goblin, and those were two of my favorites! They also had Tarzan, Conan the Barbarian, Isis, and other franchises like Star Trek and the Planet of the Apes were also really popular figures. They also had a line-up of King Arthur's 🤴 swordsmen. The Black Knight, Ivanhoe, etc. Those were also really cool. I had the Ivanhoe figure and there was a metallic mesh armor. They all had ⚔swords⚔ and🛡🔰shields🔰🛡. In the 70's those were incredible for us. If you add in the playsets from the Planet of the Apes, the Enterprise Bridge playset, and some others and you had hours of fun, and imagination. Nowadays figures aren't toys like the Mego's were. Now they are serrors collectibles than can be worth some serious money. Hasbro was the biggest factor in the action figure world, they've have recently gone from the big dog, to dog food. McFarlane who wasn't even a possible competitor, has now gotten so much better with their products that I honestly think that they could surpass Hasbro very soon! IF McFarlane starts releasing the figures which people really want, like the ones you mentioned? They'll blow Hasbro out of the water. No offense but Hasbro's greed and idiocy are to blame and they deserve to fail.

5:00 Yeah, the gun nozzle on mine was loose too, and I was wondering how every reviewer was able to take their ice effect out of the gun. I managed to by just twisting the ice effect and loosening it up until I was able to free it. And yes, you can still use it as a weapon effect for him.

The freeze effect can be removed through a little hot water and heat

Great review! I saw another review on youtube where he removed the blast-piece from the gun and was able to put it back on at will. Almost like there was a peg in there...

I like this fig but hate the color scheme. Then they announce a platinum variant and the color scheme is even worse! So I had to paint mine and I'm glad I did. He looks really great now.

Nice review as always! The card design artwork is by Greg Capullo, I think you have that figure from DC Collectibles DC Comics Designer Action Figures Series 2: Mr. Freeze. He 's very fragile but I love that figure, it fits very well with the Dc Mcfarlane line.

The Mr. Freeze from the card is the Greg Capullo's Mr. Freeze, DC Collectibles released a few years ago. I had it, terrible stands up by the way

Cool review! This whole wave has released in the UK for the most part, I still haven't seen the Hush Batman yet, but I was able to pick up this figure and Catwoman. The paint doesn't bother me too much in terms of colour, sure I would've preferred gunmetal and blue over the greys and whites, but the lighter colours do make him stand out against the many black and brown colour schemed villains we've seen so far. My main issue with the paint is on top of no shading its very heavy, which detracts from the base sculpt details. This figure's sculpt though I think is great, perfectly captures my mental image of Mr. Freeze with the suit being bulky but not oversized, and the head and dome design nails the iconic look, all of that is enough for me to overlook the colour choices. Shame about the legs on yours, mine hasn't had much trouble standing. For me my top two picks for Batman villains in this line are like you mentioned, Poison Ivy and Two-Face. They're the biggest major villains who have yet to be done that have so many interesting and varied designs in the comics. They could make a good number of versions for each of them and I imagine they'd sell pretty well.

Why doesnt the figure match the trading card? I don't understand why the figure comes with a trading card, that looks nothing alike. It's an ok figure. Barely any paint. I'll wait for this figure to go on clearance. Then I'll do a touch up on the paint.

I like this figure, as for other villains I think I already said enough times that I need an Arkham City Two Face along with the BTAS version (the red box from DC collectible BTAS Two Face was awesome but hard to be found nowdays and too expensive if you ever find one), then Arkham CityPoison Ivy, Mad Hatter and perhaps a more classic Scarecrow

Concerning the design of the figure, I'm surprised it was only featured in ONE PANEL thus far. I'm glad that they didn't go with the Greg Capullo New 52 design (that overhauled origin has some bad voodoo), especially since the design McFarlane wound up using feels like a healthy mix between his BTAS look and Arnold's look. Another well done figure by McFarlane. I am getting more impressed with McFarlane's efforts after each release. This classic looking Mr.Freeze is a really great looking figure. I'd give it a 9.5/10. Or 4⅘⭐ out of 5⭐. A great looking figure, decent articulation, and a cool freeze gun.🔫 BTW WHY can't figures have guns for a accessory now? I mean if these are Adult Collectibles, and the product is geared towards adults? Why or WHAT is the reasoning behind the ban on gun accessories for action figures? I'm not trying to be "funny". I'm really just looking for a reason as to why this is new rule is being utilized?

DC (or more likely Warner Brothers) is no longer allowing their figures to come with realistic guns. Even figures for adult collectors don't have any guns included now.
