After months of sitting here, I'm finally having a crack at pimping out the McFarlane Toys Ninja Spawn action figure!
The inspiration was to make it look stylised and something you'd see from the comic books...

This has to be one of the best McFarlane customs you've done. Absolutely murdered it my dude! I'm curious, what are the advantages of using oil paints for dry brushing/highlighting rather than acrylics? Is it the workable time? Thanks!

I feel like the chains and cape aren't up to your usual standard of detail. One of the things I love about Spawn's cape is that its an entity all its own and I feel like its a missed opportunity not having it wielding the katanas and doing a "General Grievous" type pose. The chains look great but the placement...not so much. The paint job is spot on per usual and I like the added detail on the base.
