Wow, the 2001 Overtkill looks so much better, in my opinion. The new 2022 Overtkill looks like a weird devolved version of the 2001 version. Thank you for showing them side by side, no one else has done that in a review. 👍

Basically Spawn brought Overtkill and Cygor back to life so they could fight for him. That’s what this new figure is based on.

Spawn figures now arent meant to be the same. I really enjoy them. I also have overtkill and just painted him up. Used washes, drybrushing and added some chains. And now I love him. I just love adding to or customizing figures so that I like them more

The old overtkill is better. It’s just so full of details. Remember to check out the underside of his forearms. He has a couple of flip out guns hidden.

Yes that was an awesome figure on 2001 but it was more of a statue than a figure I just love we got a updated and really articulated overkill figure

Even after seeing the 2022 overtkill in person I couldn’t force myself to spend 50 bucks on considerably one of the worst looking spawn figures in 25 years. He looks like he could go with series 1 violator

Just bought the new one on Amazon for$20 shipped. Im going to try to modify the articulation a bit then repaiint and customize into another different character. Ive been trying to hunt the classic one for a reasonable price.

Man the statues are truly a classic and very detailed. but man I wish they were articulated so i could play with them back then...now I get it for my son to enjoy now and play with him from time time lol

I was super disappointed when I got mine finally compared to violator and cygor. This does not feel like a $50 figure

I got mine for 33 dollars when it was on sale. Same with Cygor. Definitely pays to wait for a sale with some figures.

Mcfarlane forgot how to do paint washing and how to apply dry brush. Now is equal to Mattel.

The old one is better in every aspect. As for articulation, whats the point if you cant take advantage of it. A lot of figures can barely stand.

Ummm naw, he looks kinda hungry and little bit on the chilly side, light on plastic and missing a couple of coats of paint. Some of these things might be justifiable at $20 but at $50 there's companies that give you more for half that price throw in a accessory or something idk 🤷‍♂️.
