@ScottPankhurst It can be. In this instance, it should have been. Selecting a lubricant nearly the same color and shade of freshly spilt blood for use on MANNED heavy machinery takes a special kind of foolishness.

Threaded rod is rolled by skewing the spindles to the complete lead angle with Annular dies which are just rings or skewed axis thru-feed dies where part of the lead angle is ground in the dies and the rest is created by skewing the spindles! Harold C. Sawyer MCF
