He got under his skin before he tagged him in the cage, this fight legitimized Conor McGregor's skill as an opponent. Jose Aldo is one of the best fighters in the world. It was wise of Jose Aldo to reject the rematch as quickly as it was brought up. The animosity between these two was hilarious considering either of them knew what the other was saying. Just an example of hate transcending language barriers. A rematch between these two would be interesting.

Yes and no. Itd be great to see him on the hunt again hungry for wins. He def needs a warmup fight, Ali got it back going when he came back, lost to Frazier first time but still got better and better in fantastic wins after. Theres a bigger factor than ring rust IMO and this has just been my own theory for over a decade. Something about fighting Floyd Mayweather specifically has changed fighters forever, vast majority leading downfalls of life and careers after. Its nuts. IMO i think it t has something to do with being dominated by someone who unlike a Tyson (where you write it off to getting caught of how powerful he is) Mayweather will outlast you, figure out your style, adjust, then totally dismantle your style by the end. And i think having all of your flaws shown to yourself forever changes fighters. Whatever split second hesitation elite fighters do not have is reinserted aftet fightng Floyd. The doubt is inserted forever

Then another video minutes before the fight showing Conor complete the exact sequence that happened. No fluke. Just mental backed up with pure skill, timing, swiftness, power, precision.

Fluke is the wrong word to even be using. It was a mistake made by Aldo, that McGregor quickly exploited. The rematch should have been instant. Aldo should have been given a chance, to regain some of his dignity. I am sure he is still punishing himself, to this very second.....

I don’t believe khabib or Mayweather broke him at all. The money broke him in my opinion. When Conor first started off in the UFC he was on a mission he was determined and set on doing what he said. Getting belts and getting paid and getting out. Sadly the money got to him again this is my opinion. The drive the determination all started to wither away. There was talk not long back about Jose Aldo starting a Muay Thai career (don't know how true that is), I'd give Jose a strong chance of beating McGregor in a Muay Thai bout. I know McGregor won't even take MMA serious so why would he take Muay Thai seriously, but at this point anything is possible.
