Here in Ireland bales weigh much heavier. Also they are wrapped in the yard. I know Mc Hale make great machines. We run two of their wrappers and bale handlers

Why no twine wrap option available???

Does the net unwrap because the bales are stacked on their ends with no wrapping? We usually take the wrapper to wrap the bales in the field before carting them home but we have carted unwrapped (net) bales with no problems (stacked like pyramid not on end, so I guess because the net is held down from its own weigh not by its "stick") to be wrapped in a previously baled field by the stack due to baling at home the next day "less to bring back by morning".

I know but being a contractor we need to have both options open to customers. Netting is no good on a long draw like 8 to 10 miles

MCHALEfusion We own a 2011 mchale 991bc wrapper and 2012 691 round bale handler, all I can say about you gear is I'd like to buy more of it :) serious now I judged one of your f5500 balers and couldn't find anything I didn't like about it except for the price ;)

I can see your point of having both options for customers but Mchale is focused on keeping their balers as simple as they can be and as few different parts over the range as possible, take our v660 the rollers the belts run over are the same rollers as the fixed chamber, works fine and fewer parts for them to carry. Why is it that net is no good on a long draw like 8 to 10 miles, is aus they are trucked 1000km or more with net no problems

Why would you want twine wrap anyway, the time you save with the speed of the netwrap pays for the bit extra it costs and you end up with a lot better looking bale and easier to feed instead of trying to find all the string.
