Love the theme song! Those power plant stacks near the end are I believe on the Ohio River. Because of obunghole's war on coal, they didn't install precipitators and scrubbers since they figured they were going to be scrapped. So sad that we are being run down and sold out.

south main auto repair llc is good for electrical problems also, Wayne's advice may be best in this case...some times wonder about the conductivity of the bus body itself...corrosion loose rivets etc. maybe overkill, but a ground bus from battery to engine to dash panel and serving all load points may not be a bad idea....my .02

Hi Scott. Glad that you are recovering from your back injury. Noticed that you have solar panels laying in the dirt near to your bus. Not sure if they are hooked up or not but I thought I would suggest mounting them on an array frame work which would keep them out of the dirt, and also possibly from getting damaged by falling debris from storms etc. Welding up a framework is not very difficult, or having someone do it for you and mounting up your panels would give you the option of possibly expanding the array later on as your needs grow. Just a thought. Continued success in your projects and Best to you and family for a safe Christmas and Holiday season.

Fan belt. There is a pair of very large squirrel-cage fans above the engine compartment that blow air through the radiators and into the engine compartment. It's no fun to work around when the engine is running.

Did your chiropractor recommend some exercises to work the affected areas? Our does recommend exercises to help strengthen long suffering muscles to help hold the back into the right place. I hope your back continues to get better. I found a hard mattress really screwed up my back. I added a decent topper and that made a world of difference and reduced necessity of adjustments.
@busoldmanphil72933 жыл бұрын
That reduced "pulsating" you see after proper engine grounding is common with with original electronic voltage regulators "hunting" for field voltage. In the end it does not affect charging or load carrying capabilities if the batteries remain charged with loads.

Get your self an inversion table for your back, it helped me and I had chronic back pain for twenty years. Gravity is pulling down on your spine, give it a rest and a stretch in the other direction. Just 10 minuets a day twice a day for the first month then just maintenance after that. Don't go fully inverted unless supervised as you may not be able to get back up by your self. It is not exercise, it is therapy.

Voltage drop testing. Positive to negative post at the battery. To verify some alternator outout. With the headlights on and the engine running. Then a long jumper cable from the negative battery terminal to the floor next to the engine. Then the volt meter from the end of the jumper cable to the engine block or alternator housing, this voltage reading should be less than 0.4 volts. Then another test from the alternator housing to the bus body. Again less than 0.4 volts would be good. Forth step.jumper Cable still laying on floor next to engine compartment. Move other end to positive battery post. At engine end. Hook meter to end of cable and touch alternator outout stud. This might be closer to 1.0 volts or less. These test your electrical connections between the batteries and the engine and alternator. It's a simple but effective test that you only need a jumper cable and a digital volt meter to perform.

they do not need them, what is the reason you want disks? like you don't want to adjust the drums, etc?
