HI Phil. Point taken, but we literally grab a camera when we have 20mins free, click a mic into the flash mount and press record. We sell HiFi, the video's are just us trying to share what we love, with the world.

Lots of folks are saying the hdx headphone out is comparatively low quality, and should have been either left out or just not hdx. What's your take on it if you've tried it? Very nice presentation!

I like the headphone output and it is superb quality. The HDX is a feature I am unlikely to use on good headphones though

Thanks Gary. I worked in a supermarket as a kid (30 years ago) and a craft knife / box cutter was your super tool. So, three decades later...I look pretty confident with a knife.

@@TLPCHC Wow! Looking forward to that. I wont be receiving mine until middle of april, mcintosh is sold out and parts are on order so everything is on backorder currently. I also bought an MC462, will you do a video on that as well? Also, just a suggestion, but, you could/should try to do video footage of the gear close up, show the meters moving. i notice you only show closeups of the gears plugged in in still images. try video! it doesnt have to be a sound demo, just show the meters moving please :)

Thanks for your feedback. We have essentially zero budget for these video's and receive no income from them. We are just trying to share some pretty cool stuff with the world. We are not professional at video's - we sell HiFi most of the time, and when we have 10mins, we just set up a camera and press record.

Hi Paul, do you think hearing a $13,000 pre-amp over KZbin is more or less valid than going into a store for a demo? I.M.O. and given the limitations of mic's, compression of KZbin, computer speakers etc, you should seek to listen to any HIFi in a HiFi store.

This pre-amp is astonishing. Big upgrade over the C-2500 (which was an amazing improvement over the C-2300. How do they manage to keep making these soooooo much better each time?
