Depends what you want to achieve. For a small office it is often just simple to buy some computer and a small NAS for a file share.

You need to download Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT). This will allow you to perform administration on remote server from a desktop. We do this, because most administrators will perform remote administration now days rather than using the server. If you search our channel, you will find a video on how to install RSAT.

Great series, you must have put in lots of time and effort and it shows. Do you know how many more videos you were planning for the 70-640 stream and how many objectives have been covered?

I liked your explanation and understood well. Please help me to sort out my issue.I have linked GPO A to user OU and is enforced in this GPO I have enabled prevent proxy change access to users(this gpo scope is authenticated users).I have created another GPO B which is also enforced and I have disabled prevent proxy change access to users(this gpo scope is one AD group in which I have added few users). Now only GPO A is getting applied not B. whatever changes I do in A gets applied but changes in B not at all applying.

I have one domain and have several sites on it, now I want to configure a GPO to the one particular site and doing so is not an issue but yes however I am not sure that if I configure the GPO to one site then, it would be replicated to another sites as well using inter site replication which I really do not wanted to. so please suggest "" applying GPO to one site would affect other site or not''""

Thanks for the video.., It's very clear and awesome, I have query here., In your explanation you had taken control panel and blocked in site level, for some purpose we need so your providing access only to some users., like wise can we block recycle bin in site level and but we give access only some user.. Thanks in advance
@itfreetraining10 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. You would block it at the site level and then unblock it at the user level for the users that require access.

thank you for this training, I have a question if I have two GPO's with opposite action linked to same OU (same level of hierarchy) which order they will be processing ?
@itfreetraining10 жыл бұрын
They will applied in the reverse order. So GPO 2 first then GPO 1. This means that GPO 1 setting will over ride the setting applied in the other GPO.
@itfreetraining12 жыл бұрын
There should be able 6 sections. By the end we will have covered all the exam objectives given by Microsoft.

Thanks for the video.. I have another query sir.., While creating the domain level, you had created an object domain wide group policy... can you explain me , how you have created that..
@itfreetraining8 жыл бұрын
You create a Group Policy Object (GPO) and then assign it to the domain level.

4.21 Not needed: 1. open CMD 2. type: gpupdate /force
@itfreetraining5 жыл бұрын
Give it a try, most likely when you run this command it will give you a message saying that settings will not take effect until you logoff. Sometimes you will also get a message from gpupdate that a restart is required.

Tinashe Mudari I.T. Free Training offers our content free through our KZbin channel. The hard work of our writers, video editors and voice actors are all paid for through Adsense revenue garnered from the placement of all our videos. Which is why we cannot offer you the original files. All work is copyrighted to I.T. Free Training. If we offered the videos offline we would not be able to give the content away for free and not be able to pay our staff and thus could not create any videos at all for you to watch.
