I don't like the way he talks about the experiences. "I'll do anything to get that special footage." I get filmmakers to want to have a certain shot for their movie, but these are literally films of people being abused whether or not of its "legality." Real filmmakers take care of those who are involved with their film. They have medical teams on hand, they make sure the actors are okay if the scene gets too much, there are breaks. Using the guise of filmmaking and having a waiver that allows him to legally do this is absolutely evil. There needs to be a debriefing afterward with a licensed psychologist if Russ really wants to continue this. The levels of psychological torture and abuse, simulated or not, is beyond humane.

@LOAblue4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be surprised if someone ends up dying going through this. I think the only reason he hasn't been shut down is that no one who's gone through the experience, can afford to sue him. A decent lawyer could argue against this in court. They may initially consent and sign a long waiver, but once they want to stop then it's no longer consensual. I wouldn't want to go through this experience for millions of dollars, much less $20,000. Even having millions from the experience wouldn't be much fun, if there's lingering PTSD or other mental issues.
@randallelston30923 жыл бұрын
Several people have tried to sue him, his 40 page waiver covers anything you could sue about. It’s just specific enough yet vague enough that you’re agreeing to basically allowing him to do anything
@kianna2703 жыл бұрын
apparently as long as the wavier explicitly says everything that can and may happen, he’s covered legally. which he does. he covers every little thing they can possibly do to you in the waiver. the only way someone could get out the contract is if they were under the influence of drugs or something and weren’t in their right mind while signing the contract.

He's made videos and posted them online saying he "doesn't let them out". "Haunted attractions" should be enjoyed by its patrons. This is not the case with McKamey. There is nothing enjoyable about it. It is physical and psychological torture masked as amusement. McKamey SHOULD be shut down, Russ and his "actors" jailed, and its patrons who suffered physical and mental abuse compensated in some form. Period. The exit interviews are pretty key-- for one thing, tortured people are extremely loving to their torturers when torturer shows care for the victim-- that is gitmo level stuff ANND in this case-- the victims are not yet out of the situation-- giving him what he wants-- video of you saying how great it was while you are still covered in fake blood-- if he does not get that? What happens? Do they drag you back in? They could. BUT-- outside of that fear, the real-world psychology on this would generally make exit interviews favor the torturer.

I have watched a few videos that have presented pretty convincing evidence that he is basically running a red room. There is evidence that the video is being live streamed somewhere. It is also the reason the “safe word”, which was only implemented after that one guy died, doesn’t work. They only stop when the person physically can’t continue or the live streamers vote to stop.

From the interviews that I’ve watched of people who have gone through mckamey manor, if you’re a woman with hair past the tops of your ears, you’re getting your head shaved. It’s one of the most psychologically torturous things you can do to a woman, from personal accounts. Imagine having your head shaved or worse, just a patch shaved down the middle with hair left on the sides. Idk about you, but I do value my hair. I think most women do

I do have to correct you one 1 point (so far). He doesn’t do his due diligence. The “waiver” is NOT legally binding. In fact, the “waiver” was made by a paralegal who was his then girlfriend at the time. The word “liable” is even spelled incorrectly on the form. I believe she did this purposely. Her name is Carol and she never really agreed with what he was doing after a “contestant” of the name “Laurie aka Laura B.” Her tape was never seen and was never released. He put her in the back of a van and let 6 people beat her all at once. She left with a broken foot, her hair pulled out, and a swollen, bruised face that included a whole in her mouth where the little “webbed” part of your upper lip that connects your gums to your lips was torn and gone bc she had 6 people’s hands in her mouth and pulling it in every direction at the same time. There are interviews that she has done and her story has never changed and her “tour” was never aired. He scares the 💩 out of these people and tell them that people will come and find them and uses psychological abuse so these people don’t speak out and tells them that they have signed an NDA and will be sued for $50,000. They are scared to speak out. EDIT: I’m sorry- you covered her.❤️

His "waiver" won't stand up in court. It took a metric ton of digging, but i found one version. The typos in it are astronomical.
@ERBS_Mommy20193 жыл бұрын
What’s so bad.. it does. People have tried to sue him, press charges on him, etc. he films everything, every little thing. So, it does stand up in court and against legal actions. People are consenting for this and he has found a loophole and they sign that waiver, it’s over for them legally and every other way.
@swampdonkey49192 жыл бұрын
I don't believe typos or grammatical errors would invalidate a waiver, especially since the participant reads aloud and signs the waiver on camera. Could be wrong, though. The actual content of the waiver may be a different story, though. And I'm pretty sure drugging people is illegal, regardless of consent. But I'm no law student.

A couple of different people believe he even dosed them with lsd before going through the manor. Another thing I don't think you knew about, was that people don't always go in alone. Most of the time you had a "partner" or random person you went through the manor with, I also heard that he's no longer doing the torture stuff, he has a boot camp now in replacement for the haunt. Sooo...this is my second LOP and I’m in LOVE 🥰!! You guys ROCK!! The episode that brought me to you guys first was ‘The Beast 666’, and it was killer! I have personal knowledge and my “specialty” I guess you can say would be insurance and nonprofits. I am willing to bet that this Manor is not its own nonprofit. If it is any kind of nonprofit organization, in any way, it probably is under some one else’s organization’s 501c3 umbrella. Nonprofits have to have insurance just like any other commercial business, so I don’t see how he would have his nonprofit status and have insurance in any way, shape or form. And, waivers don’t hold up in court, usually. Just in case anyone needs to know that. They usually are easily broken, it doesn’t matter what you’ve said, or signed to make something okay. If it still is out of bounds you can take them to court and the waiver is useless. Don’t let someone threaten you to say anything on camera because they will sue you. That isn’t how it works, that is more of their fear game. This man is sick and is definitely and predator in many ways. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS STILL JUST A PERSON IN KZbinS OPINION AND ANY ONE IN A SITUATION AND IN NEED SHOULD SEEK A PROFESSIONAL’S HELP AND ADVICE.
